I got this from the Kindle Unlimited library

This starts with Demi being picked on by her school class for being the only shapeshifter and her trapped wolf trying to break free causing her to leave the room at a run and heading outside where she lets out a howl of pure anger. Only she isn't alone, an attractive wolf shifter - Sawyer - is behind her and invites her back to Wolf City - turns out he's the Alpha's son and will be Alpha very soon himself - and she goes with him, not expecting much, but finds herself included in a strange sort of real life The Bachelor type scenario.

I've never watched The Bachelor but i know the general idea for the show and this felt very similar. Although it was clear from early on that Sawyer is very much into Demi - more than any of the other girls, anyway. I liked how different it was in that way, I've never read a book that went along the lines of a dating show. It was kinda fun.

I actually really liked Sawyer. He wasn't the typical Alpha shifter. He could be very humble at times and was always considerate of what Demi wanted, unlike most other shifters you read about who are rather demanding and shove their thoughts and feelings onto others. I REALLY liked him!
Until that end bit! What was that all about? Doing a total 180 because of one strange thing that happened and then publicly declaring your marriage to someone else without talking about it? That totally knocked my rating down a full star because after everything that you'd done for each other, you do that to her?! It was totally out of left field.
Fair enough Demi thinks she's figured out whats happened but then it ended and I'm all up in the air. On one hand I was loving it up until that last chapter or so...

I need book 2 pronto so I can see what happens next with these two.

Wolf’s Magic ( Westervelt Wolves book 4)
By Rebecca Royce
⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶

Wolf's Magic is the story of Azriel Kane, fifth brother in the royal Westervelt wolf pack. Always different from his siblings, Azriel prefers to spend his time underground in a lab than out fighting battles to save the pack from destruction. In his own way, he feels he is contributing to the pack's success. However, when fate plants his destined mate in a cage where he can't ignore her, Az will be forced to face up the demons that have plagued him since childhood and be the shifter she needs him to be.

Leah St. James has no idea who she is or how she came to be trapped in a cage in Azriel's lab. The only thing she is certain about is that she is not a wolf and that she wants out of her false wolf body as soon as possible. Counting on Az to save her from the same doomed fate as the other wolves Az is given to study, from the distance of her cage she can see Az for who he really is and not the false front he presents to the world.

But Kendrick Kane is not done with Westervelt and when he steps up his game to eliminate the Kanes from Westervelt, Az and Leah will need each other to discover the truth behind his evil plans, that is if Azriel can finally reveal the secret he has been keeping since he was a child.

With Leah's help, can Azriel finally take his place in the pack hierarchy or will they fail and lose Westervelt forever?

I love Rebecca Royce and I really like this series this was good and we get to see Azs find his mate. It was a good read and I recommend the series.

King Kong Ain't Got Shit On Ms
I love this movie, i have seen it about 5-7 times now. It is on my top ten films of all time. I love Denzel Performace, he played as a excellent villian, and he should do it more often, cause he doesnt play the villian that much, the only other film I can think of is "American Gangster" and thats it.

The plot: Police drama about a veteran officer who escorts a rookie on his first day with the LAPD's tough inner-city narcotics unit. "Training Day" is a blistering action drama that asks the audience to decide what is necessary, what is heroic and what crosses the line in the harrowing gray zone of fighting urban crime. Does law-abiding law enforcement come at the expense of justice and public safety? If so, do we demand safe streets at any cost?

In June 2003, the American Film Institute named Alonzo Harris the 50th greatest screen villain of all time in its list AFI's 100 Years...100 Heroes & Villains.

Also excellent quotes like..

"You gotta be a wolf to catch a wolf."

"You gotta control your smiles & cries because that's all you have & nobody can take that away from you."

"You wanna go to jail or you wanna go home?"

"To protect the sheep you gotta catch the wolf, and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf."

"I've been planning this all week, son. You talk that crazy shit, I'll make sure that blood gets to the lab. You wanna walk your baby nuts around the block, you won't make it to the corner, but if you're cool, if you're cool... then you're a hero. You're a virgin shooter above suspicion."

"You don't know any stories? Okay, I'll tell you a story. This is a newspaper. It's 90 per cent bullshit, but it's entertaining. That's why I read it, because it entertains me. You won't let me read it, so you entertain me with your bullshit. Tell me a story, right now."

"This shit's chess, it ain't checkers."

"You got a dick. You do have a dick, don't you? Okay, the dick lines up straight like that right? To the right of it and to the left of it are pockets, right? In those pockets are money. Look in either one of 'em, pay the bill."

And of course..

"Aww, you motherfuckers. Okay. Alright. I'm putting cases on all you bitches. Huh. You think you can do this shit... Jake. You think you can do this to me? You motherfuckers will be playing basketball in Pelican Bay when I get finished with you. SHU program, nigga. 23 hour lockdown. I'm the man up in this piece. You'll never see the light of... who the fuck do you think you're fucking with? I'm the police, I run shit around here. You just live here. Yeah, that's right, you better walk away. Go on and walk away... 'cause I'm gonna' burn this motherfucker down. King Kong ain't got shit on me. That's right, that's right. Shit, I don't, fuck. I'm winning anyway, I'm winning... I'm winning any motherfucking way. I can't lose. Yeah, you can shoot me, but you can't kill me."

Its a excellent, phenomenal movie and a must watch film.

So far we have got introduced to Mac and Archie and David. We also meet up with Gnarly. It all starts with an old woman disappears from Spencer Inn. Mac wants to know what on the south side of Spencer Mountain.

So Mac asked Hector to tour the old castle. David comes by following Mac and Hector. Mac gets out of the jeep and asked what David is doing. Now David commits to being with Mac and tries to protect Mac even though if he does not know if he will be able to. We finally get somewhere with a Wolf man and crime scene at the castle.

There at least four murders and some disappearances. It is closed down and locked up by Robin Spencer after the disappearance of Damian Wagner.

The author got me intrigued with what it happens at the beginning, but she really does with the wolfman. I could not wait to see what would happen. Who is Wolf man? She put a bit of a supernatural in this book and it a good book for the month of October. I come away with the fact that I wish to know more about this wolfman and whatever happens to him.

We meet several new strange characters. Do we meet someone named Mr. Ghoul? How can this get any better with even more murders?

CRAVED BY A WOLF is the twentieth book in the Eternal Mates series and overlaps slightly with Fenix's story. Right at the start, Kin is cursed as a way to find and hurt Hella, but we don't know why or by whom. There is uncertainty if Kin has actually found his fated mate or if it is just part of the curse.

Kin and Hella have a LOT of miscommunications, their relationship has more turbulence than a plane in a storm. Although Kin has his past AND his wolf to contend with, I did feel as though if they had just talked to each other, the story would have moved in a different direction. And not forgetting - Hella's undying conviction that Kin would change her, own her, in ways she didn't want.

Whilst I enjoyed this book, especially getting the hints about other couples, there was something that didn't quite work for me. Still a fantastic story and a brilliant addition to the series that I have no hesitation in recommending.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

I have to say, this final book of the Wolfpack Trilogy really wasn't my style. I enjoyed the story and the plot but I just got disgusted with the sex scenes. Honestly, whenever the sex scenes started my face would just get a permanent "ew" look. <spoiler> Beastiality, knotting, and almost wolf rape etc... </spoiler>

I really did like the premise of the book. The plot was semi unique and there were some things in the book that I wasn't able to predict which was refreshing.

Ultimately, the series was interesting but definitely not my favorite.
