I was really excited by the premise but felt disappointed by its execution. The writing was also pretentious at times, despite him mixing up John 1:1 with Genesis 1:1 - Theology sigh.

This was the first story for this author and amazing. The writing was superb.. the subject was deep and dark at times.. the love and lives though.. oh man.. it was wonderful.

The book was very conversational. I prefer reading a more disciplined style of writing for nonfiction. I did not learn anything new from this reading. Almost all I had read in other readings.
