Terribly sad but incredibly written
Contains spoilers, click to show
Writing in the perspective of a 5 year old boy is no mean feat but it felt realistic most of the time and the perspective is incredible. There are some major differences from the film, which make the book more sombre, mainly the mother's wish to stay alone from her family. Horribly sad.

So the first half of this book was a little slow for me, but one I got towards the ending, wow! The tears just couldn't stop. Such a touching story and an interesting way of writing it and getting it out there. This book hit a lot of tender topics but all in all an amazing book.
Though this clever and intriguing idea will undoubtedly make you laugh (if you can stomach it), Palahniuk's signature 'shock value' style can go overboard at times. Damned is a damned good book, with a unique premise and engaging writing, but I often feel Palahniuk relies too heavily on simple tricks to shock and offend the reader.

Great Watch
If you're like me and enjoy a bit of adult humour, this show is for you. It has you laughing through every episode. Sometimes the plot is easy to follow, other times you get surprised with a plot twist. Dark humour, animation and a main character that's an alcoholic sociopath.

addicting
Respectful yet still new
This Sherlock Holmes variant is wonderful. The team that has created this series has truly respected the essence and artistry of the original stories of Holmes and Watson by Arthur Conan Doyle and yet found a way to make them fresh, approachable, and almost addicting, to the modern audience.
