I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I made no guarantee of a favorable review.

I enjoyed reading this BDSM book. Full of twists with a steady pace, unforgettable characters and the graphic sex scenes were simply "HOT BLOODED." The author's writing style sweeps you up and transports you right into the story line. I will definitely be reading more of Ms. SaFleur's work.

"The Blackhouse" by Peter May is told in alternating 1st/3rd person chapters. Saying that I've never seen this done before would be a lie, but I've never seen it done so well. The transition was seamless and logical. I have never thought about using something like this in my own writing, but now that I've read this book, man do I want to! #goals

Good start to a great series
The start to an excellent series if you can sink the time into the 14 books. As this is the first of 14 books it is a little slow to get going however Robert Jordan's writing style keeps me intrigued even when going through seemingly dry lore and setup.

Page turner
This is a page turner, that gripped me from start to finish. It is a very psychological book that will keep you on your toes. The writing was very good and the main character is fascinating. The plot is one of the most original that I have ever read.

This movie is incredible. Without a doubt the best movie in the X Men universe and a strong contender for the greatest comic book movie of all time. All of the cast are amazing, the way that the plot plays out is incredible and the weight that this movie carries is felt throughout, which isn't an easy thing to capture.

Didn't like it, but couldn't put it down
As much as I didn't like this book, I do give the author props on writing good suspense. Other than that, I can't offer much love. The characters were annoying and the plot was annoying. I like untrustworthy narrators as much as the next gal, but this just didn't do it for me.

Thrilling story
A jolly good murder mystery
It might be shelved under fiction for 9-12 but Robin Stevens' murder mystery series featuring the honest, clever and ever loyal Hazel Wong and her best friend the irrepressible Daisy Wells is an absolutely fantastic murder mystery series to be enjoyed by all ages.

I was pleasantly surprised when I started watching this! The storyline is interesting, as long as it doesn't get too sucked into the "monster of the week" trope. I think they brought together a great cast, and I'll be interested to see where this leads. Hopefully it doesn't get too bogged down like she did with True Blood.

No.

no no no no no.

Out of every JP book I've read, this is really pretty bad. Patterson's writing is redundant to the point of saying literally the same sentience multiple times (I counted four). the plot was weak, and I guessed all the "surprises" before I got through the third disk (out of 9).

still exciting, but really not worth your time.

A well-written, engaging mystery with a protagonist, Maggie O'Neill, I (mostly) connected with and a plot nicely developed. The author did a good job setting up the series while maintaining the mystery within and developing Maggie and her quirks. Easy to read and smartly paced, with an engaging writing style, I'll definitely be picking up the next book in the series, if not all of them.
