Well this book was certainly a journey!! After it opening at the end, then going all the way back to the beginning of Delias story, I read eagerly to get back to the end of the story to find out what had happened! And what a story it was! As flawed as Delia was, her story was engaging, entertaining and the flow of the writing made it a very easy read.

Murder Has No Lives
Jaine's mystery did not live up to the back cover, which is disappointing as there was so much potential. What could have been was tossed out for a subplot and the whole ending was rushed as if the author remembered what she was suppose to be writing about.

I had such high hopes for this! I'm a huge rhoa fan and enjoyed a couple other books by other housewives. I looked forward to reading this for months! What a disappointment! I didn't like the undeveloped characters, there wasn't much of an actual plot, and the writing was just awful. I can't help but wonder where the editor was in the publishing process cause this is just sloppy imo.

Dragged Out
I'm not a fan of this writing style. The story is dragged out causing even the interesting parts to become monotonous and boring. While a couple of the characters were interesting the majority of them did not stand out. The majority of the book follows the same pattern of being mildly interesting, but never enough to stand out and be engaging. This book belongs on a shelf somewhere.

I love this app! I took Spanish in high school and college. This has helped me to brush up on it. It definitely helps with your writing and reading ability but it doesn't really help when it comes to actually speaking with someone else. An app can't really do that but overall it's definitely a good app to learn with.
So I've basically had this book out of the library for about a year now and I've tried and tried. I've read 100 pages but I just can't push myself any further.
I don't know if it's the writing or the subject but it just doesn't keep my interest.
Maybe I'll try again in the future but other books are calling me...back to the library you go.

I had been wanting some kind of something to keep track of everything I have read or an audiobooks I had. I had just been writing them on paper and then I was introduced to this app. I can make different and as many lists as I want. I can rate things and follow friends. I think that this is by far the best app I have ever used!

This book was GREAT! A difficult read due to the fact that it dealt with the roundup of Jewish families in Paris in 1942, and particularly the story of Sarah. There was also a parallel story with Julia as a journalist writing a story about the roundup. She becomes embroiled in Sarah's story and it affects her life in ways she didn't anticipate. I highly recommend this book.

Give me more Darkling
Just some rough thoughts:
Amazing writing, complex storyline but not hard to follow with deep and wonderfully developed characters. This was quickly absorbing and totally unpredictable. The description was perfectly pitched, not too heavy but I was able to paint the world easily in my mind. I listened on audio and the narration was superb.
I favour the Darkling. Does that make me dark?
