Much better than the film
Having read this and the alternate version of twilight I can definitely say both are better than the film. The character description and story flow are much smoother and in depth. Not the best writing mind you but a lot better than some and it's a new twist on an old tale.
Really enjoyable book with some pretty memorable scenes and one liners.

The music follows and enriches perfectly the different atmospheres, ambiances, that the movie wants to convey to the spectators. It is also quality music with complex and fascinating writing. (0 more)
Immersive and emotional
This soundtrack is one of those that I like to listen to every now and then. It is both music on its own and music that only goes with the movie, with the story and what it tells.

I liked the first volume, and normally love Brian K. Vaughan's writing, but this one just didn't pull me in. I think there was just a little too much teenage drama during part of this volume. It looks like that may be over, though, so hopefully 3 will be better. Cloak and Dagger make an appearance in volume 2, while the kids continue to try to stay hidden.

At first I really like this book and really got into it but as I progressed I became a bit bored with it. I like how the LGBT element was incorporated into the book and I liked the characters but I feel like they could've had a bit more depth to them. I wasn't a huge fan of the writing style so this book was not for me.

A book of why I write by people who write
A book of short essays from poets writing about the art of poetry. Look out for Kathleen Jamie's essay on truth, very insightful. Some of the book was like a massive tongue twister whilst others where thought provoking. Worth a read if you want an insiders view.

The way she writes is just superb. (0 more)
Martina cole really knows how to catch her readers attention. She includes so much detail into her book that you can really picture everything, from the scenes, to the people & even the emotions. You never know where the story will go next, just when it seems calm something unexpected happens that brings with it a whole new aspect of the book. Just fabulous writing.

Good but a little OTT
I really enjoyed the writing of this book. I felt the character development was good and the ideas behind some of the plot were interesting with some very unique twists. The ending just seemed to get more and more far-fetched with new crazy doomed day plans coming out of nowhere. I would recommend.

Who do you trust?
I really enjoyed this first season, the characters and acting was fantastic. The writing was brilliant, you don't know who to trust and you are drip fed information.

The new season has just started and highly recommend catching up with this first season as the from the trailers season 2 looks like it could be amazing.
