Anyway the film decent start to the year and for a blumhouse movie no gore just the jump scares which is a plus in 4dx there is decent acting from the cast the plot isn't either once u understand what's up with the swimming pool in question overall good start to the year

Ambient 1: Music for Airports by Brian Eno
Ambient 1: Music for Airports by Brian Eno

"I love Brian Eno, but I picked this album specifically because it's one of those albums that if you're up at six in the morning, stressed out wondering why you were up all night, I can just put this on and everything feels OK. It's almost superficial because it's so sweet and ambient, but I respect it a lot because it always piques my interest. I know he wrote some of the songs with Robert Wyatt from Soft Machine, and Robert Wyatt has this delicate, fragile sort of energy, I feel like that's there. An old friend of mine, Yuka Honda from Cibo Matto, the first band I was in, first played this to me on vinyl in the mid-90s. I was smoking a lot of pot in those days. I've read that Eno made it with the intention of actually playing it in airports. For fun I have put it on [in an airport] and there is something quite airporty about it… something machine-like about the melody. It reminds me of the architecture of an airport, it's not bustling or busy, it's like an airport when no one's there. I think it's the number one album I'd recommend for taking a bath to."

This is one of my all time favourite movies. Every character is played so well (0 more)

Amazing movie
Kurt Russell was born to play Wyatt Earp. It is without a doubt his best role. All Earp wants to do is settle down to the simple life but it doesn't work out that way.
Val Kilmer makes a fantastic Doc Holiday. He lost so much weight to play the character but it's one of his best roles.
It also stars one of my favourite actors, Sam Elliott. You cannot have a western movie without him.
It ticks all the boxes.

"We did an album of Antony and Robert Wyatt covers in 2011, and this was another record that we all fell in love with in the band early on. It's a very spiritual album in way. I'm not religious and I don't think Antony was then either, but there's so much feeling in it, in how his voice moves, and how the strings really cradle the lyrics. It's rolling, roaming and sensuous, and I became fascinated with Antony's voice. It has so much fragility in it, but also this soaring strength. It's such an incredible mix."

Oh wow!

If you're looking for a thrilling read that pulls you into a deadly mystery then look no further.
Ideal for a young adult plus reader, Mercy Creek, will have you hooked and slipping deep into the intrigue of this seemingly perfect town. A town protected by detective Jo Wyatt, a strong tenacious woman determined to bring the truth to light and catch a killer.
She's a brilliant detective and I really liked how her personality developed.
It's also cool that the story is a standalone but with a basic background/main character that stays the same.

It’s a week away from opening day for the Snowden Family Clambake, and Julia and the rest of her family are hard at work making sure everything is ready. But they are also discussing what to do with the ruins of Windsholme, the family mansion on the island where they host the clambake. One expert they are bring in turns out to be Julia’s prep school roommate, Wyatt Jayne. Wyatt is in town to oversee a yacht renovation, but when the owner of the yacht is found murdered, she finds herself the prime suspect. Julia has her own reason for investigating the murder, a very personal one. Can she figure out what truly happened?

While this is book six in the series, it’s only been a year to Julia and the rest of these characters, which allows us time to really see their relationships grow and change. I like watching this growth as the series progresses. There are several sub-plots that facilitate this, but I felt they slowed things down early in the book. Once the mystery kicks into high gear, it completely captured me again, with several wonderful twists and a climax that tied everything together perfectly.

NOTE: I received an ARC of this book.
