I found myself grinning and giggling as I read this mythological YA book and had an extremely hard time putting it down. The author's writing style quickly pulls you in and you find yourself falling into the captivating story line enjoying the likeable characters. I highly recommend this hypnotic read.

This is the first book in this series by this author. This is the first book by this author that I've read by this author and I loved it. The characters were amazing, you will fall in love with them from the start. The chemistry between the characters is just so real. This is a YA love story. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

I’m usually a bit hesitant to stray from my favorite authors and this time was no different. However, I’m soo glad I did! You want action, mystery, romance, betrayal? It’s all here. The best part is that it’s all here without the usual angsty cliches normally found in books that are listed as YA. I’m not going to recap the book, you can read the cover yourself. Read the book, read the series, you won’t regret it!!

"If Becky wasn't a gay teenage boy with good grammar and a foul mouth in several past lives, then she's absolutely one of the most observant writers in the YA game. New Review (June 2017): Just finished my third or fourth reread of SIMON VS., this time on audio which is narrated by the amazing Michael Crouch, and wow, I love this book more each time. I'm 27 right now and SIMON remains the book I wish I had 10 years ago."

The Good Demon is a gritty, dark, and refreshing YA story about Clare, a 15 year old girl who undergoes an exorcism without her consent. After the demon within her is purged, Clare is sick of her community trying to decide what's best for her and sets off to reclaim the demon stolen from her. The Good Demon explores topics such as consent, feminism, and religion, all while supporting Clare as a woman who can and does make decisions for herself.
