I haven’t put as much time into the game as I would like but from the 30some odd hrs I have it’s a pretty solid games. Collect, scan, build, and survive. It is at some times tedious but then you fine something new or can dive deeper to get what ya need to build something. It is a little annoying no weapons of the sort but it’s not as horrible as it sounds. Controls get confused at times and aim is off when trying to catch a fish but for most part it’s fun and if I was able to get kore hrs it would have been rated higher as I probably would have been addicted.

This is the third book in the series about Freya and her sisters who have been turned into Frae by the cauldron as Freya and her mate and some friends continue their battle against the courts Lords to stop them destroying the human lands and being humans and Fae together. Freya discovers that destroying the cauldron doesn't stop the deaths and destruction happening and ends up forging the pieces back together. They lose their father in this part of the series though they find out that their father loves them even though they are now Fae. Not sure if there is going to be any more in the series. Very enjoyable YA book.

Scythe Faraday
One of the best premises I've read
I'm a big Ya fan along with Dysatopic books so I was excited about reading this book.

The premise itself is brilliant if we irradiated death via disease and accident the general population would eventually expand so it couldn't hold everyone so the sytche where created taking as few people as possible to maintain order but like all things evenatlly power will seep in somewhere and corrupt this is a great story and I can't wait to see where it goes next.

THE lead charcter are Citra and Rowan selected by Scythe Faraday to become his apprentices however evenatlly only one can have the job.

I don't know how The Bookworm Crush got crushed out of my radar, but apparently it did until last month and aren't we glad this landed into my radar?

Because in this house, we stan books that are purely bookish, with references that will bring nostalgia on a nice and shiny platter. (My favorites from middle school! The OGs of YA I --!!!)

We also stan books with:

"I’ll tell ya, when you see a kid actually stop and focus because they love doing something — I mean something other than just goofing around or playing video games, right? Something next level — putting in the extra work and scraping together a few bucks to enter a race because they just want a shot at hugging a real track? THAT gets me. Watching kids like Annabeth, Josh, and Brandon… all different but all with the same grit and attitude and big dreams? THAT’S what gives me hope for this sport! And for the future! I get emotional just thinking about what they put on the line! Great. Now I gotta wipe my windshield. Thanks."

3.5 stars.

After reading this I'm not sure I get the story title but other than that I liked this.

It was polar opposites attracting; the popular guy and the girl who's different, the loner.

I liked how they both changed. The found hope and a reason to be better, to believe that they could become better with each other in their lives. Overcoming obstacles and the past to hope for a better future.

I kind of wish the ending had been a little longer but knowing that they finally stood up for each other and that Stella was actually giving college a chance was enough for me.

Another nice YA romance from Katie McGarry.

I got this as a freebie back in 2012, I think, and only really got around to reading it as part of "We Heart YA groups" A-Z Challenge.

I ended up DNF'ing at 20%.

It wasn't bad or anything, just not enough happened in that first fifth of the story to grab my attention and to make me want to continue reading.

If something other than her starting a new school and learning she's a witch (though she should have figured that out by herself already), oh and meeting a cute boy and his dog, then I might have wanted to continue but like I said, the plot was moving far too slowly for me.

I'm not sure about this series.

Not much seems to happen in the 300 odd pages of this book; it seemed like--maybe it did?--everything happened in the space of a few hours, which equally made it seem like an easy read and like I couldn't be bothered to read it because it seemed to drag.

The best bit for me happened around the 270pg mark. John became really...hot and forceful-ish with Pierce and I was actually kinda giddy, but of course this being a YA book no details are given. Boo!

I haven't decided yet whether I'll finish the trilogy, though it does seem a shame to read only 2/3's of the series.
