Not the best marvel movie I've seen but I have soft spot for the movie after 18 years since it first came out there are some good action scenes thruout the movie and it wouldn't be the same without jennifer garner playing elektra shame it never got a sequel

One for fans

I might be one who actually missed the 3 TV series which were made around 9 years ago. They had a big fan base and this film was funded by the fans on the Kickstarter site. Which I assume is a first for a major film. It has all the main characters from the show from what I can tell. So there is a nostalgia angle for fans seeing the story continue years after the TV series finished. For non-fans it's just an average detective story that is lacking any real tension or suspense.

This thriller is completely gripping. Ellie was a golden girl, the apple of her motherÕs eye and only fifteen years old when she disappeared without a trace. JewellÕs drama unfolds quickly and uses a smattering of dramatic irony, so that you figure out the truth before Laurel, making you squirm in your comfy reading spots as you read on. This is a pacy, dark, tense story, totally compelling until the very last word.

This book grabbed my attention from the beginning and held it. The things that brought the rating down for me were the transitions between years toward the end of the book. It wasn't until you were a few pages into the chapter that you knew it was 5 or 10 years later.

Knot is the kind of woman who does what she wants no matter what other people think about it. This story takes us from 1942 all the way through 1987. Telling the story and secrets of West Mills. Each character has a different story that all melds together in one incredible telling. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to other books by this author.
