Looking for a book that you can do with your young children or readers. Angel on assignment is a good one. It got a craft that will let your readers or young children create an angel to sit on a shelf.

It tell the story of Jesus and the meaning about angels mostly. Angels are around us everyday and everywhere. We just may not see them until we need them. They are there protecting us and helping us when we need them. All we have to do is ask our lord.

The pictures are down well. The author portray and help teach us and children about angels. This is good for any age group. Parents if you want to get a book that you want your children to learn about or be taught this book is one for them. Even if you do just want it for yourself. It good to have around.

Are you hungry?
My nearly 5-year-old was so excited when I showed her the advanced review copy of this title and immediately settled down to read it to the family. This is a lovely little story, much like many of Julia Donaldson's other titles which engage the young mind. Well illustrated to give non-readers something to engage their interest but with language that is accessible to younger readers also, the rhyming line endings engage their mind and enjoyment.
I would definitely recommend this to a Julia Donaldson fan and for Nursery and Primary Schools as well as local libraries. This is a classic of the future.

I received a copy of American Royals from Random House Books for Young Readers through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this book had a great premise but was a little disappointed at the lack of history. All we got is that in this verse it is a faux pas to drink tea.
Okayyyy.
The characters are great but there's that lack of communication trope so present in ya novels.

Not For Those With Weak Stomachs
My stomach turned and I was horrified by this read which I completely LOVED!!! The author entrapped me in her fun house and didn't let go until the bitter end.

Outstanding storyline and strong characters. I felt like I was right there and a part of the sideshow.

This book is not intended for young readers or for those with a weak stomach.

Kudos to the author!!!

A WATCH THAT REVEALS MORE THAN JUST THE TIME . . . A mysterious gold watch propels 27-year-old Kathryn Frasier into a quest to prove her parents’ recent deaths were not an accident. Following a trail of cryptic clues, she encounters a remarkable cast of characters, including an actress with a talent for disguises, a politician with a dark secret, and a handsome businessman who shows a sudden romantic interest in Kathryn. Can she solve the mystery before she becomes the next victim?

My Thoughts: This is an excellent mystery that not only keeps the readers' interest but actually keeps them glued to the book. The amusing idea of the hunt for clues was fun for myself and I believe other readers will enjoy that also.

The readers will fall in love with the characters Kathryn and Cece, since they both have interesting personalities that the readers will enjoy.

This was a charming read a story of a young woman losing her parents, but gaining so much more as she learns to trust God and the people around her.

A great read for anyone, especially those who love a good mystery with a smidge of romance added in.

The Misadventures of Michael McMichaels book is about another moral lesson that we need to teach lesson. This story about an borrowed bracelet but do your children or child know the different between borrowing and stealing?

This story plot put Michael in a predicament. Does he know the different or not? You will see that he does something he thinks is justified as he not harming anyone one and has learned lesson about what did in book one. If you have not that is a good book to read a well and is the beginning of the series.

Tony Penn does a good job with this moral lesson and bringing it out for children to learn and understand the concept. He also does it where young children can learn and enjoy the book. This is a good book for parents as well as young children and readers.

The picture are done well. I do enjoy the misadventures that the young Michael goes though. I can see young children learning from this book and the moral lesson behind the book.
