Ok... so I feel kind of bad giving this one a rating when I didn't read the whole book, however I believe it's justified in the sense that I didn't read it all because I didn't like it...therefore, a one star rating from me. Now, I must admit that I have never read the original Pride and Prejudice novel and I have never had any interest in doing so, it just doesn't appeal to me. When I saw there had been an addition of Zombies I was sold, I love a bit of Zombie mayhem...plus I was getting to read one of the 'classics' at the same time. Well...at about 50 to 60 pages in I am sadly bored stiff, the language is such an effort to decipher sometimes, I often don't know what's going on or why and really...why Zombies? I'm not complaining that there's Zombies but there's nothing to them. It's the original story with some random Zombies and martial arts thrown in, unexplained and lacking. They are slain so easily and with haste in order to get back on with the original story. I was, at least, hoping for equal measures of Zombie action and original story but unfortunately it just didn't deliver, more zombie action please! Maybe I will pick this up again in the future to give it another go but as it stands I just can't bring myself to struggle through something I'm not enjoying. Back to the library you go!

This Game Has Everything From ZomA to Zombie
Zombicide, a very simple concept, Survive and Escape.

Each character has a Specific set of Skills; Each skill allows players to do extra actions, or allows them escape options. (Wanda has Slippery, this allows her to move through spaces with Zombies).

This game has 3 Phases per Character; Move, Search, Attack.

As you kill Zombies your characters level up, gaining new skills. However you need to balance this as when one of your teammates levels up, more zombies spawn each turn.

This concept is fantastic and makes you think before you kill.

The game is high quality and printed on thick card and the minis are well detailed. The box it is provided in is also high quality, however I would suggest getting something to store the mini's as the plastic packaging they come in is rather weak.

Gameplay is simple to pickup, however this should really be player Sobre as gameplay does require some thought.

TL;DR
-Good Fun
-Easy to Pickup
-Requires Thought
-Worth Getting Expansions

Dawn of the Dead- is the second movie in the living dead franchise directed by horror icon George A. Ramero.

The plot: As hordes of zombies swarm over the U.S., the terrified populace tries everything in their power to escape the attack of the undead, but neither cities nor the countryside prove safe. In Pennsylvania, radio-station employee Stephen (David Emge) and his girlfriend, Francine (Gaylen Ross), escape in the station helicopter, accompanied by two renegade SWAT members, Roger and Pete. The group retreats to the haven of an enclosed shopping center to make what could be humanity's last stand.

On the way these surviors to encourter a bike gang that raids the mall and some how the survivor have to survivor the bike gang without getting killed.

You really get to care about these charaters, because you are with them, you are one of them, you fell like your apart of them and trying to survivor the zombies.

This movie is 2h and 30mins long but that is the perfect amont of time, for this zombie epic.

A must see horror movie, a must see zombie survival movie and george a ramero director it.

"That was the first record that Jaye ever played to me when we met. It was surprise. This is a girl who ran away from home at age 14 to Alphabet City in the eighties, lived in a squat there, was into the hardcore scene so went out with one of the biggest hardcore guys in a band so no-one would beat her up or touch her, and yet she loved sixties psychedelic music. The Electric Prunes, The Zombies… Eventually The Zombies reformed to do one gig in New York, in this little club, so I got tickets, and they were spot-on. They did Odessey And Oracle, and afterwards I introduced her to The Zombies and they signed her album. It’s an excellent album. The harmonies and Colin Blunstone’s voice are stunning. That voice with the hissing in it. We had this friend, who did a lot of co-production on early Psychic TV, and he said my voice took to tape really well because it had this hiss in it. Apparently, it gave more resonance, so I accidentally have the same sort of resonances as Blunstone. Sadly, not the same voice or skill!"

I thought I was cliche that she was immune to the virus but at the same time, awesome that she wasn't only the main character. The gore and the jump scares were a nazi g and the ending how i would have thought.

Highly recommend to gamers who like zombies.

"Hamilton is a modern master of vast, operatic sci-fi. When an alien probe accidentally comes in contact with a dying man, it follows his soul to the netherworld and accidentally lets loose a legion of raging spirits. Space zombies, galactic war, high tech, rockets, it’s all here in a marvelous first volume of three."

I've currently read the first and second book, about to start the third.
Firstly I love this plot, I like the twist that instead of zombies you have haters, which are like extremely high functioning zombies, it unique and very clever, secondly I've read reviews on here about how they thought it was a slow burner, but I like that, he is setting up the story, getting to know the characters and I love the fact that he makes you empathise and root for the haters, I found myself hating the unchanged lol!! really can't say any more as I'll give the plot away but I throughly enjoyed the unique take on a apocalyptic style event that destroys the world you know and take for granted!

I got this book from the author for a honest review. I am not a big fan of zombie books and honestly this one isn't a lot different for me except that the characters and plot of the book were better then most...I still didnt like the whole zombie eating people thing etc...but honestly I did enjoy the story..there was more to the zombies then just eating people and wasn't a bad story. I would def recommend this story to those who enjoy zombies especially and for those who might be interested in trying a new zombie book just to try one this would be a good one to start with. I am thinking about reading the next book when it comes out. :)

The whole series, what were they thinking? (0 more)
This is not Resident Evil
It still amazes me despite how many films, animations and now a series that they can't recreate the feel and vibe of the game series.
Decided to check this out despite hearing how bad it was. This is very far from Resident Evil you know from the games. Wesker is very different which just begs the question why? Other than a few creatures brief appearance from the games this may as well have a different title. The Zombies, now called Zeroes, again why? Don't even look like zombies. The story is rather daft, the whole thing is disappointing. Save your time you are not missing out by skipping this.
