OK, maybe not zombies in the classicly - or comtemporarily (is that a word?) - understood sense, but that's more or less what 'The Forsaken' (as they are called) come across as.

This novel also sees the return of the Battlemage Balfruss - who seems to be modelled after [a:David Gemmell|11586|David Gemmell|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1202771023p2/11586.jpg]'s character of Druss, if Druss could use magic - with it taking more or less chapter about to move between his point of view and the other key characters.

All-inan-all a solid ending to the trilogy, that leaves the door open for further tales to be told in this world.

The School Kids
Saw a trailer for this a while back and didn't think it would amount to much but having watched it definitely makes my top 5 films of the year.

The film starts off showing us a guy going through the various stages of a break up with his GF.He then moves in with his sister and nephew, then he meets his nephews kindergarten teacher and offers to help her chaperone the kids on a trip to a petting zoo.All while this happens a zombie outbreak is going down at a secret military base, said zombies go on a killing spree (creating more in the process) and all escape and make their way to..the petting zoo.

Once both parties finally cross paths at the zoo,its a fight to get to safety for the adults and the kids to avoid going the same way as all the other visitors and before the army nukes the place.

This film was made and produced by the streaming company hulu and it's an absolute delight.Plenty of laughs to be had (especially from tv kids performer with a sex addiction who happens to be appearing at the zoo on that day) with one or two serious parts in between.

If the thought of a bunch of zombies singing and clapping along to some very recognisable kids songs while following a tractor makes you laugh then this is the film for you.

My review for the giveaway.
I will begin by saying that I am not much on PvP. I like story driven games. Now this game does have a story and it's very good. There is no campaign for the progression of the story though. It's tailored more towards the PvP players. The neat thing is that the name Mason is still there. It is in the form of the daughters. Jessica and Savannah. Jessica is on an ops mission with two others, Ruin and Battery, and presumably killed. Savannah wants revenge, so she had a virtual combat system to train Specialists. That is the "campaign" disappointingly. The story is still good though. You find out Jessica is alive and it was Savannah her own sister that tried to kill her. Savannah was using a project called Blackout to try and reanimate the dead. It worked for four people, including Alex Mason. Then there is the Zombie mode. People are turned into zombies at a party and you shoot them. I am kind of burnt out on zombies so it's a mode I didn't play a lot. My take...If you eat, breath and live COD. You will like the game. Its not the game for me. BO 2 is still the best one to me. I think they missed a great chance at an awesome campaign in this one

Some Brief Moments of Uniqueness From This Above Average Zombie Film
Contains spoilers, click to show
This movie was pretty good for a foreign zombie film. The zombies were well done and the blood and special effects were good too. For me the real thing that kept me interested was how they tried to change up the zombies by giving them this new and unique behavior where they started taking objects and stacking them up high in some kind of weird ritual. To me though this never fully pays off as it is never explained why or what they were doing. The movie did do well in its scenes where it built the tension and actually kept things scary, which some zombie films fail to do. I also liked the way they kept the theme on survival and they were constantly running for their lives or looking for a place to hunker down and stay safe. The zombie kills were pretty gruesome and they didn't shy away from the blood and gore when it came to blowing a zombie's head clean off with a shotgun or showing someone's bite wound continue to bleed as they slowly die. Still this movie suffered from their not being a more solid plot or story tying the people together and although some know each other, they never really say how. To me this movie was better than the average zombie movie but just barely. I give it 6/10.

Grim, not for kids!
My first reaction was how can they call this a teen movie? It's so graphically brutal, from harvesting young people, to zombies, this should definitely not be geared towards a younger audience.

There are certain similarities with the Hunger Games series, with the younger generation in the future, seen as expendable. And unlike the first, where there was more action, this starts opening itself to a larger cast and more developed plot. As with any trilogy, the middle tends to be an explainer for the first and set up for the third film. Is it the best of movies? Probably not, given that HG was far better, but it's not bad.

As with most, I think the books are better than the films. The second film is very different though from the book. If you enjoyed the films then I'd definitely say read the books!

[Johnny Graphic and the Etheric Bomb] by [D.R. Martin] was an incredible adventure. In the classic sense of serial adventures from the 1940's the young cub photographer, who happens to see ghosts and is 12 yrs old, has to save the world from a horrible new bomb. Along with his sister, Melanie and other friends, they travel the world to solve the mystery and stop destruction.

As a teacher who just spent the past three weeks teaching about the making of the atomic bomb this book seemed to parallel that with a 'ghostly' twist. (I know bad pun.) I will be looking forward to reading book two. Also did I mention besides ghosts there are zombies. Highly recommended.

Have you every found yourself refering to people who have their face buried in their cell phones as zombies? Stephen King took it a step further and made the cell phones turn them into killing monsters at a single pulse through the phone. As a middle school teacher this though terrifies me, I would never get out alive.

It is an interesting twist on the zombie/apocalyptic theme that seems to make a social commentary as well. The characters are typical Stephen King so they are developed but not complex. There is a certain amout of familiar predictability. I was quite disappointed by the ending though. Still it is a good beach read.

One of the best shows on TV in recent years
An apocalyptic drama that finally ticks all the right boxes. The 'zombies' (walkers, lamebrains, whatever you want to call them) are realistically frightening (not either dragging their heels or moving at super-human speed), already achieving what so many in the genre fail to do - a terror we can actually relate to. Enhanced further by (generally) realistic post-apocalyptic situations and dilemmas, the drama is able to develop characters with ferocious intensity.

This show keeps me on the edge of my seat and has me genuinely invested in its key players. There's nothing out there quite like it - it's a uniquely brilliant experience.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. As a musical adapted to the big screen, it retains the rhythmic and incredibly precise movements you might expect from a well rehearsed play. Alan Cummings is brilliant, as are Kristen Bell, Christian Campbell, and Ana Gasteyer. The songs are catchy, campy fun, brilliantly skewering the original Reefer Madness for a new generation. As the film descends into reefer madness and the character's dangerous weed addiction provoke more and more unlikely responses, the film's reality begins to unravel into murder, chaos, and marijuana zombies.

Watch this if you like comedic musicals, cannabis induced cannibalism, or you just want to see Kristen Bell in latex S&M gear.

Realistic zombie apocalypse game
I love this game! It's easy to play and dip in and out of with new stuff constantly being added. You can play as minimal as you like; you can focus on surviving and building up your base or instead raid other bases and create a clan. I also love how realistic it is - if you chop a lot of wood for example sometimes it can make you sweaty. If you don't get to a shower soon, then zombies will smell your sweat!
