Smashbomb

So this latest Amazon original film has just been released amid quite a bit of advertising. Starring Michael B Jordan it looked like a big budget project with a mix of action and thriller. While it does have some entertaining scenes overall it feels less than the sum of its parts. Almost like ideas and plots from several different spy action films. Rather by the numbers, an ok effort but nothing original.

A very powerful racial thriller with great courtroom action, outstanding acting from the leads in what may seem to be a cliched and somewhat formulaic script that may seem to somewhat glorify vigilante justice. I enjoyed this one although I understand it was divisive upon it's release.

Nice!

This sci-fi thriller was better than I was expecting. The acting and cinematography were very well done and the action was pretty brutal and intense. The storyline really played out well and had great twists throughout. Definitely keeps you interested. Very much worth a watch!

A very good, solid well made film with an intriguing story. Mainly classed as a thriller but it has plenty of action and even a few bloody scenes. Gets a bit political but you will be engrossed until the outcome. A perfect role for Mel Gibson.
