Sherlock Mouse Holmes
The Great Mouse Detective- is a really underrated animation film made by disney that was released in the late 80's. Plus you have Vincent Price as the villian. I love Vincent Price he is such a excelllent actor.

The Plot: Basil embarks on the greatest case of his career when London's master toymaker is kidnapped. He ends up pitting his wits against his old adversary, Professor Ratigan, who wants to become `supreme ruler of all mousedom'.

The Great Mouse Detective- mixes "Sherlock Holmes", "The Rescuers" and "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" togther into one film. You have mystery, comedy, adventure, action and music.

Its a very underrated film, that i highly recordmend.

"Another film with Alain Delon. It’s interesting — probably he was my favorite actor when I was 16, and then I was a bit disappointed of how he changed when he became older. I guess also politically, but that doesn’t matter. As a young man, he played some very enigmatic and wonderful roles. Another favorite film of mine … It’s a genre film, Le Samourai, by Melville. It’s an incredibly cool gangster film. Just the opening, I think, is 20 minutes where not a word is spoken and you always see Alain Delon with his hat and his trench coat. It is just an incredibly stylish and aesthetically wonderfully shot genre gangster film. In German, it’s the Ice Cold Angel, but the Germans always have these funny titles."

"You know what movie popped into my mind? Bad Company. Do you know that movie? This was Robert Benton’s first film, another first-time director that I had great success with. Gordy Willis shot it, you know, the guy who shot The Godfather. This one takes place in the 1860s. It’s about two guys, myself and Barry Brown (a wonderful actor who’s no longer with us), that are running away from the draft of The Civil War, so they decided to go West. An interesting sideline to that; we get a band of guys that fall in with us, John Savage is one of those guys, and who do we run into during our travels but David Huddleston. You know who he is… the Big Lebowski!"

When you think of Richard Briers, if like me you were born in the early seventies, then you will always associate him with The Good Life and Ever Decreasing Circles. Reading this book i found out that he was so much more than just situation comedy actor. From his early childhood days selling cigarettes and comics to appearing in films with such legendary actors as Robert De Niro and Denzel Washington this book covers it all. It also tells the background story of his family life, which opens him up to be a more complex character than you can imagine. A fantastic read and definitely up there with the best i have read :)
