At times tense, deep and shocking and others light-hearted and fun, which creates a great base for character development and relationship building. JudyAnn makes me smile, she takes things in her stride and is open to learning. She's likeable and I feel like I'd definitely pick her as a friend.

The film also co-stars Christopher Lloyd as the mad eyed scientist Doc Brown (who invented the time machine, which originally (as a bit of trivia) was going to be immobile until the makers decided that might be too dangerous, with kids climbing in and getting struck in fridges), although it never quite explains how an adult came to be such close friends with a teenager!

A fully rounded story that literally leads you from the very beginning. It's beautiful and heartbreaking. I laughed and cried, became frustrated with both Zane and Fiona and fell in love along the way.
I always say I like the character development and Timeless is no different, it's a brilliant journey that not only shows the growth of these two fab people but highlights how their core personalities stay the same.
Definitely an adult read with a fair bit of detailed naughtiness, done in a way that shows a deep and meaningful connection between two people who clearly belong together, even though life throws so many spanners in the works.
