[Preston Fleming] has quickly become one of my favorite authors. With [Bride of a Bygone War] he hits another home run. The continuing action and intrigue of Beirut in the 1980's is conveyed in a fast paced yet humanistic manner.

Any fan of spy thrillers or the action adventure genre definitely needs to check [Mr. Fleming] out. I will be awaiting the third installment of the [Beirut Trilogy] and any more works by this exciting author.

An intelligent film about how the media is a propaganda machine
As a journalist, this German movie is a dream. It's all about quality programming, stopping mindless TV sucking out the life of viewers and finally watching some quality and meaningful television. Obviously there are conspiracy theories throughout the film, in which the TV personality hijacks the broadcasting schedule to stop politicians dumbing down the populace. But what film doesn't have a bit of action and adventure?

This book is over 300 pages but the writing is awesome so you won't mind! The book is well written and you will adore the characters. This book is unlike anything I have ever read. It is about teenagers playing MMORPG, lightening strikes and they wind up in the game. It is full of adventure, and twists and turns. I can't wait for book 2. I am giving a voluntary, honest review of an ARC from NetGalley.

A sweet little story that sees the two children create a snowbear and then take it with them into the woods to play. Here their imagination takes hold and the adventure begins. What could be frightening for some little ones, this story has a safe ending and would be good for encouraging safe feelings.
My little one found it easy enough to read herself and spent time retelling the story from the images. Always a bonus.

The Kid Who Would Be King (2019)
The Kid Who Would Be King (2019)
2019 | Adventure, Drama, Fantasy
The Kid Who Would Be King (2019) pulls contemporary adventure from the stone of legend.
Opening with exactly the same set-up and opening thematic point as “Justice League”, Joe Cornish takes the idea of a country and a world which has lost hope and, with a keen eye for contemporary resonance, weaves a wonderfully affirmative and inspirational tale from the ancient cloth of legend and the modern social fabric of present-day England...

An epic adventure
What a great way to bring to conclusion some 22 films over the past decade. So many characters, so many great films. This film is no exception. It has some great battles, great SFX as you would expect. It's also a very poignant film with a vast array of emotions felt by the characters and the viewer. Overall a very good conclusion to the Marvel saga.

The rock smashed it again
After Dwayne Johnson's previous films, you think he cannot do anything more right, but he does. This film is brilliant, Dwayne plays the part of family man who would do anything for those he loves so well (as we've seen before), the two child actors were fantastic in their roles also and really convincing. All round, the perfect film for anyone into action, adventure and family.

On his thirteenth birthday, Alcatraz gets a package from his long dead parents - sand. But that's not the strangest thing as his life takes some wild and crazy turns in this alternative reality book for kids. And it's a wild ride of laughs and adventure. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to read more.

Two children from our world get tricked into traveling to magical worlds. But one stop is a world that is just forming and appears to be run by a lion.... A bit slow, and honestly I think it's best read in the order written (sixth), but still a fun tale filled with magic and adventure.

As you'd expect, this is a collection of the poster art from the Magic Kingdom parks over the world and over the decade from the founding of Disneyland up to some of the recent posters in California Adventure. As a fan of the posters, I loved looking at them and am thrilled to have this book.
