Do your children like have adventures? This book has an adventure in it. It about a dolphin that needs help. Children will learn about animals and their habits. We meet a marine worker at the national reserve.

The children learn about animal care and what do if there a problem. Will Terry be able to help the little dolphin that something is wrong. I also enjoy the pictures in the book. They tell the story if your child it young to read it himself or herself. Parents can read this book to their child as well. It easy to read for children that are beginning to read books or learning to read books.

This is sweet and quick adventure book. It a wonderful book for though that love animals. They can learn about environment and animal habit at the same time. The author does a wonderful job with the story and it meaning. I recommend these books for young readers or beginner readers and parents with young children.

A love letter to the 80s and all things geek!
I love this book more than I can say. I think this is one of my favorite books of all time, to be honest. Ernest Cline did a great job at giving much needed kudos to the 80s and all things geek.

I have the physical, electronic, and audio editions of this book. I can’t get enough.

This book is fantastic for many reasons: the fact that there is something for the techy, the geek, the pop-culture guru, the romantic, or even the adventure seeker.

Set in the future where our world is lived in VR, Ernest Cline takes us on an adventure that teaches many of us to sit and think “Oh, man! Do I spend that much time with technology!?”, “What would I do with more cash than any sane person should have??”, or even “What would you do for love and friendship??”

This is an easy and fun read and I think that almost anyone would get some type of joy from reading(or listening) to Ready Player One.

Biggles Cocks It Up
Startlingly incompetent big-screen version of the classic boy's-adventure hero. New York yuppie discovers he is 'time twin' of First World War fighter ace, is plucked back through time to help him destroy a German secret weapon. Don't worry, it doesn't make any more sense in the actual movie.

Potentially charming adventure movie is utterly torpedoed by fatal uncertainty of tone; what started off as a 'straight' period movie is reduced to gibberish by the addition of witless time-travel plotline, which drags crass 80s 'comedy' bits in with it. The fact it largely seems to be the work of people who've never actually seen a film before, let alone worked on one, is the just the coup de grace. Even Peter Cushing's usual near-supernatural ability to lift a dubious script mostly fails him; no wonder this was his final (non-CGI) big-screen appearance. Soundtrack contains Queen bassist John Deacon's only recordings away from the band; this is almost certainly not a good enough reason to watch the damn thing.

Rosie the Tarantula: A True Adventure in Chicago’s Field Museum by Peggy Macnamara is a cute picture book. It is a story about a pink footed tarantula, Rosie, who lives at the Chicago field museum. One day in 2011 she escaped from her room. She didn’t appear until 2012. This book imagines the adventure she might have had. It is also used to describe what can be found at the field museum. Plus there are lots of notes at the end about the real rosie, and other animals mentioned in the book. I will say the rhymes are hard and do not flow well, but for this book I don't think it is needed. I applaud the author for getting the words to rhyme in the first place. And while this book is about a Chicago based institution, lots of kids will love its story and colorful illustrations.

I received an ARC from Northwestern University Press via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I give the book 4/5 stars.

An amazing addition to an already fantastic franchise!
I haven't tried the actual online gameplay yet, but I can tell you that adventure mode is fantastic. I spent 8 hours after a full workday playing adventure mode; I've unlocked maybe a dozen fighters all told, some of whom I don't even recognize. There's a new mechanic that allows me to customize each fighter as I play, which allows me to improve characteristics that I like or use more frequently. I can even train my fighters to have different statistics, which unlocks a multitude of different playstyles.

I haven't actually tried to play the online Quickplay yet, though I will probably do so sometime this weekend. It's great that they have online as an option, because that was always an issue for me--often I couldn't find anyone available at the same time as myself, so I only had CPUs or each hero's journey to complete.

I'd give this 15 out of 10 if I could... And 20 out of 10 with the more traditional controller!

Sadly, I did not enjoy The Baron's Bounty as much as the previous two books in the collection. I found the main character, Isobel, rather uninspiring and difficult to connect with - similarly, many of the characters in the book did not have the same character depth as I found in Elizabeth Rose's other books.

Similarly, although it was initially quirky, I quickly found Isobel's passion for shoes a little irritating. I mean, she likes shoes - I get it! Coupled with some quite questionably convenient plot points, little character development, and a lot of repetition early on, I just did not enjoy The Baron's Bounty as much as I hoped I would.

On the plus side, I found the action and adventure thrilling, and the character of Rose, Lord Conlin's daughter, was intriguing. I'd certainly be interested to read a future novel telling her own story!

However, I'm afraid I just could not connect with this book and it was a bit of a disappointment for me.

Mothergamer (1589 KP) rated the PlayStation 4 version of Forager in Video Games

Forager
2019 | Action/Adventure, Casual
I played the game on PS4, but it's available on the Nintendo Switch and PC too. Forager is an idle game that does a great mix of crafting, exploration, and adventure. Automation is the biggest factor in the game as it encourages you to always have things crafting on your machines while foraging for more resources and adventuring. There are dungeons to explore where you can solve puzzles and fight monsters which reward you with special weapons and items that you can use on your adventure. You can play as little or as much as you want. Forager gives you a lot of freedom to craft, build, farm, and forage. There are mini quests you can do and islands you can buy and unlock adding more areas for you to explore. It is a bit of a grind, but you don't really notice because the game is so much fun to play. It's a laid back relaxing game that gives you a lot of freedom to explore, craft, and build.

Pirates Ahoy
Treasure Planet- is a strange movie, it came out in the early 2000's and thats when Disney was running out of ideas or starting to. I believe that their were starting to run out of ideas. Treasure Planet- is a strange movie, cause it came out after "The Lion King". And the movie's after "The Lion King" were stange. What im saying is after "The Lion King", disney decided to go really strange/a huge left turn/didn't expect that/disappointed and overall a huge downfall. But i will get to those movies. Oh this is one of them.

The Plot: The legendary "loot of a thousand worlds" inspires an intergalactic treasure hunt when 15-year-old Jim Hawkins stumbles upon a map to the greatest pirate trove in the universe in Walt Disney Pictures' thrilling animated space adventure, "Treasure Planet." Based on one of the greatest adventure stories ever told - Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" - this film follows Jim's fantastic journey across a parallel universe as a cabin boy aboard a glittering space galleon.

Its a very underrated film.
