Jesters_folly (230 KP) rated Star Trek: The Animated Series in TV
Jul 23, 2020
Being animated means the aliens can look less human and the crew find themselves in more bizarre adventures.
The animated series has the same tone as the original series and the stories, although shorter have a very similar feeling. There are a few stories that seem to have influential later episodes from other series, including the first holo-deck story although here it's just known as the rec room.

David Lowery recommended Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) in Movies (curated)
However, I found this to be lacking the intimacy of that first novel, or even the tragic pathos of Sturm from the second Dragons of Winter Night; too concerned with Tanis's internal struggles and skipping over a large part of just what happened to Raistlin and how he suddenly becomes so powerful (told in other spin-offs, perhaps?).
Also, and as with Dragons of Winter Night, not all characters survive the story, with one character in particular provided with a fitting farewell.
In short, and as a whole: these books are OK, but nothing remarkable.

Ivana A. | Diary of Difference (1171 KP) rated Prince Harry: The Inside Story in Books
Oct 2, 2020
I like how Duncan brings us to Prince Harry's life. It feels like we are there, with him, on his adventures. I like how the story progresses and I learn more things about Harry that I haven't known before. Like for example the fact that his name is not even Harry haha :D It's Henry. Amazing, right?
Easy to read, and a story that would attract everyone that wants to know the inside of a royal world and for anyone that even wondered what it's like...
