Francis is a scared little boy who just lost his entire family. Luckily, he has a guardian angel in the form of a policeman who smuggles him to a friend who will raise little Francy as her own. Over the years, Francy grows into Frank, a wonderful young man who travels to Dublin and back during the height of World War II and shares many exciting adventures and mysteries with friends and family along the way.
This is a well-researched story that really makes you feel as though you are in 1930s/40s/50s Brooklyn, as well as Dublin during the war. The characters are easy to identify with, and the story itself keeps a very good pace while still providing detailed background on the locations, time period, and characters themselves. You can almost picture yourself as a patron at the bar, sitting right alongside Frank, Butch, Johnny, etc., listening to all the stories from over the years. The cliffhanger is one that I’m interested to see resolved, and I will certainly be awaiting the next installment to see how everything falls in line.
4 ½ stars

Chris Ledbetter is a new author to me. His storytelling is nice and well written. I enjoyed his book “The Sky Throne” a fantasy and mythology book. It tells a story about a young Zeus and somewhat of how he comes to be a Geek God.
Will Zeus and his classmates find out what they are to do? The adventures they take are thrilling. Don is short for “Poseidon”. Is this book to tell the story of ancient Greek or is it more geared towards Modern? You will have to read the book to find out for yourself and decide. Though the story of young Zeus is about ancient Greek and becoming Greek God.
Hypson coming to Create after young Zeus pulls enough pranks to get himself and his best friend expelled from Crete Lower Prep. Will he learn his lesson or will he continue with the pranks? Once his best friend is killed and his mother injured he is sent to Mount Olympus Preparatory Academia. He sent to Mount Olympus Preparatory Academia he as one question “Who is his real Mother”?

These three friends end up going on adventures together. They go on these adventure but ask for help when they need it. I really like the fact they they need to use their minds and teamwork to solve the clues. The way the author does this is well done.
Children will enjoy this book as it shows puzzle solving and teamwork throughout the book. The author also makes it fun and easy to read. It enjoyable for you to read. There a jewel thief and and men, He seem to want the the item the Steve bought but why?
There are some twist and turns throughout the book. Parents is really good for children learn about team work. It also teaches them to use their minds to solve the puzzles. Will Steve, Jenny and Matt find the hidden treasure? Will they solve the mystery?
