Rolling Stone's 81st greatest album of all time
Phenomenal album. To be honest i had never listened to this album in full, preferring to listen to London's Calling and The Story of the Clash. But this is a superb album, a band being a major part in a major musical and cultural and political movement. Musically better than the Pistols, albeit late in the day relative to the American frontrunners of punk.

Rolling Stone's 340th greatest album of all time (487th in the 2020 list)
I was really surprised to see this album in the top 500 of all time. I was familiar with the laughable TV Party and the basic braindead Six Pack. With the exception of Rise Above, they are worryingly the best songs on the album. I get that this album was hugely influential but it is not great at all. Frat-punk.

Rolling Stone's 275th greatest album of all time
Eminem's second album (though lets be honest nobody has heard his debut album). It is a little rough and ready as he is finding his place and fighting as an underdog. Featuring the instantly recognisable "My Name Is" and the superb "Guilty Conscience" it is a good solid hip hop album that appeals to casual hip hop fans more than more seasoned listeners of the genre.

Rolling Stone's 37th greatest album of all time
Like with so many albums of the time, this starts off with the massive hit song, which is clearly by far the best of the album. Life in the Fast Lane aside, the rest of the album is fairly forgettable and mediocre 70s soft rock.

Rolling Stone's 7th greatest album of all time
Great Stones album, but I'm a little unsure as to why it is rated as their best. I suppose as a whole it is a great album, whereas a lot of their other albums have some superb songs with a number of lesser tracks.
