Atmospheric, spine chillingly good. (2 more)
All of the tracks contribute to creating this brilliant live album.
New Years Day and Sunday Bloody Sunday are so much better live on this, than on the studio album.

Rolling Stone's 143rd greatest album of all time
Odd and unsettling fusion of Louisiana R&B and psychedelic rock, this album doesn't quite know what it is and by the end neither did I.

Another album with another massive song where I can only think of the Me First & The Gimme Gimmes cover (Only the Good Die Young). Otherwise forgettable.

Rolling Stone's 66th greatest album of all time
Really good 70s soft rock album, very similar to Elton's earlier work. Much slower pace than I would usually like, but Van's voice suits that pace.

Great modern country album, keeping Cash's sombre yet smirking demeanour. Including a number of covers and originals, setting the theme for his better known subsequent albums.

A good album by the fab four. With some of their biggest hits it is a good listen overall, albeit with a fair amount of filler.

A little bit of a headache of an album, being very diverse, confusing and frantic. Strong jazz influences throughout with Zappa's characterful vocals over the top.

Good soulful funk-rock album, much better than I had expected based on their earlier disco work (Dance to the Music etc). Well worth another listen.
