Rolling Stone's 28th greatest album of all time
Brilliant Who album featuring Baba O'Riley, Behind Blue Eyes (I am ashamed to say prior to this listening I had only heard the Limp Bizkit cover!) and the astounding Won't Get Fooled Again.

Great 70s soft rock album, for me it had a definite Elton John feel about it. Van's voice is a little irritating at times, adding odd Americanisms and flourishes, again similar to Elton's.

Great synth-rock album. Starts off with their best known song ("This town ain't big enough for the both of us") and continues in much the same vein. Very interesting listen.

"You could just do the whole of If You Want Blood…. It’s a great album. Riff Raff was originally on Powerage and that’s my favourite AC/DC album, so hearing that song in a live environment is really exciting to me."

Noise at its finest
I love how Sleigh Bell's create an easy listening noise album. My favourite track has to be Rill Rill, after you've listened to this album once, you won't be able to stop. Trust me, I haven't.

Great early compilation featuring some of New Order's best songs. The inclusion of the B-sides somewhat interferes with the flow of the album and the quality, but it is a good listen.

Hugely influential punk-before-punk album. It really shuts down the argument that the Sex Pistols were the first punk band, as so many other bands like the NY Dolls were away ahead.

I'm not going to suggest RS magazine were "c-razyyyy" for including this album in their list, that would be too easy a shot. Not my cup of tea, very samey country songs.
