Rolling Stone's 486th greatest album of all time (420th in the 2020 list)
A great, toe-tapping soul and, at times, jazz album. A couple of standout tracks (Happy Feelin and Africano) and generally instrumental so you can work without needing to sing along :P

Rolling Stone's 108th greatest album of all time
Not the most hit-laden album by Bowie but this was probably him at his best. Still with the pomp and personality, but with so many interesting songs with different styles, folk and rock represented equally.

Rolling Stone's 89th greatest album of all time
Good folky album, includes Son of a Preacher Man and Windmills of My Mind (which sent me off looking for the old Reeves & Mortimer song "These things you find constantly irritate our minds" which i couldn't find).

Rolling Stone's greatest album of all time
Not as fast-paced as Revolver, as the drug consumption clearly increased in the song-writing process, it is much more plodding album and much poppier. A wonderful listen but for me not as good as Revolver.

WOW I really love Courtney
As time progresses, so does Courtney. This album from the start to finish is something to marvel at. This is how you create an album. One of my favourite albums of all time and one of my favourite singers!

Rolling Stone's 294th greatest album of all time
Superb live album. Such an unusual fact that their biggest song's only released recording is this live version, no studio recording was done. Great atmospheric live performance showing a raucous live act doing what they do best.
