Rolling Stone's 20th greatest album of all time
Superb album. So many of the best pop songs of all time are included here, from the title track, to PYT to Billie Jean to one of my favourite of his songs Wanna Be Starting Something. Simply an utterly awesome listen.

"The first album that I ever heard that made me realize that I wanted to make music was by a band called Joy Electric, and the album was called Melody. It’s like a really bizarre fairy tale synth pop from 1993 and they are out of Orange Country, California."

Rolling Stone's 496th greatest album of all time (2020)
Great latin pop album. At times like Sheryl Crow, at others like Britney this was quite an enjoyable listen. Really made me long for a sunny holiday: listening to Spanish pop on the bus to and from the airport.

Rolling Stone's 296th greatest album of all time
I think this is the Smiths' album with the least of their good songs on it. The music is their typical style, with Morrissey's whining vocals on top, delivering fairly strong messages at times. Not a great listen for me.

Rolling Stone's 180th greatest album of all time
Decent Stones album, consisting mainly of cover versions. Weirdly this included my third version of Bo Diddley's Mona in about three days as part of listening to the 500 greatest albums (Quicksilver Messenger Service's version definitely the best so far).
