Rolling Stone's 43rd greatest album of all time
By far the best Floyd album I've listened to but it still left me wondering what all the fuss was about. I imagine a few extra listens are needed to fully appreciate it for what it is. I may well return to it to see.

"Bjork’s album Homogenic. That was the album for me that helped me realize, not only that I want to make music, but, as I make music, I can do really what ever I wanted. There didn’t have to be rules, you could just make something really amazing that nobody had ever heard before."

This album is a fantastic show of how drudging and spiky rock mixes with vocals that melt like butter. This album needs to be appreciated in a whole rather than in singles, and immediately makes me think of the TV show Daria for some odd reason - but better and a bit cooler.

Not quite the Beastie Boys at their best, but getting close. Superb sampling and production with awesome, characterful lyricism and witty songs. It is a good idea to read the Wikipedia article while listening to track all the samples and references throughout the album.

Interesting album, comprising thoughtful, slow songs like Nothing Compares 2 U to poppier songs. I feel it is a shame she is best known for the slower songs and a lot of people would have been put off listening further.
