Rolling Stone's 129th greatest album of all time
Talking Heads at their inimitable best. Once in a Lifetime is truly one of the best songs of all-time. The blend of post-punk stylings with a more pop angle, but without the cringey new-romantic nonsense marks them apart from their peers.

Rolling Stone's 111th greatest album of all time
Definitely one of the best albums of all time. From one song to the next, there is no single bad song here. There really is a song for everyone, there are slow sombre ballads, cranked-up rock anthems and everything in between. Simply superb.

This album is a weird one. Some of the songs are incredible, but for a casual listener, this might not be for you. Songs like My House By the Water really bring OG Mac vibes back to the forefront of your mind. Think The Pipe, but a bit more emotionally propelled.

Rolling Stone's 299th greatest album of all time
One of those cult albums that you're told you should like and that "has really clever deep lyrics actually" but when you listen to it you just don't get it at all.
Buddy Holly aside, it is mediocre plodding pop-rock by a smirking twerp.

Rolling Stone's 384th greatest album of all time
Not quite the sound of the Who I (as a casual listener) is used to. There is still quite a hint of their original R&B/Mersey Beat sound remaining and they haven't gone as full-on rock and roll as they eventually would.
