"The track that I'm obsessed with at the moment is a song called 'Blue and Yellow Light' by The Duke Spirit. I never really heard much of The Duke Spirit that's really done it for me before, but this new song's amazing. I'm really excited about the album which is out that's called KIN."

There's something very special about this album. It hit me at just the right time. I remember hearing The Space Between on the radio late and night and not being able to locate it the next morning. I got obsessed for months until I eventually found it, and the rest was, as they say, history.

If the Strokes had an English baby
I was really impressed when I first heard this album. I am a big lover of The Strokes, and honestly, it's so similar. Not in a way in which you could think they're copying, but you can hear a really strong influence on these new age rockers.

Love Love Love. Not only has Florence Welch grown and moved with the times, shes always stuck with her roots. I have always thought that she sounds like a female Morrisey, with less man and more fun. This album is classic Florence & the Machine and will always be rated highly by me.

Rolling Stone's 459th greatest album of all time
Superb collection of well-known Motown/soul classics. Some are not the best/most famous versions but all are great songs. It's always surprising how many massive hits an act like this can have (similar to Frankie Valli), assuming they are all Drifters originals (I haven't checked).

Rolling Stone's 416th greatest album of all time
This was a real struggle. A dreary load of songs. Waits' voice just makes me want to clear my throat and cough. Lucky I wasn't listening to this while out on a walk, everyone would have been given me a wide steer!
Really slow plodding miserable songs.
