Fire From The Gods Punch Back In A Dying Genre
While vocalist AJ Channer has a steady flow in his Jamaican-style rapping, his growls and screaming still need a little practice. However, guitarists Jameson Teat and Drew Walker match his vocals and the heaviness he's trying to portray. They may not be at the levels of their producer just yet, but they're not a long way from that. Lyric subjects range from racial discrimination to following an unfit society, which line up to today's current events and issues. Recommended for fans of Sevendust and Skindred who want something new.

One of the best soundtracks
I cannot get enough of this soundtrack. Since seeing the film in December, I've had this album on virtually constantly in my car and I can tell you, it really brightens up the journey to work!

It's been a long time since I've listened to a soundtrack that has had so many good songs. With the exception of Tightrope which I'm not particularly keen on, the rest of the songs are fantastic. They're all ridiculously catchy and well written, with great music. Keala Settle has a fantastic voice and Hugh Jackman too, and it's even good to hear Zac Efron singing again. I'd name my favourite songs, but I'd end up naming pretty much the entire album...

Meandering plot
Admittedly will not be for everyone
So I will admit to being a big fan of Melanie Martinez prior to the release of this film so I was pretty excited to see it.

Released along with her new album of the same name this film does include every song from the album as sort of set pieces.

While I really enjoyed the songs and the overall film it has to be said that anyone who stumbles onto this film without knowing what to expect will most likely be left confused and probably annoyed. The plot is somewhat bare bones outside of the songs and the ending comes out of nowhere without any real pay off.
