Immersive and powerful
This book has been sat on my shelves since September, just waiting for the right moment to be read.
An increasingly powerful book that focuses on the life of outcast high school students that are relatable but not overshadowed by popular teenagers.
Grappling with love; loss and life, a teenager writes letters to a stranger (possibly considered to be the reader) explaining his life and his struggles with starting high school and all the aspects that can come along with it - falling in love, making friends, experimenting with drugs/alcohol/sexuality- as well as a multitude of family issues.
The end of the book is revealing and intense and leaves the reader considering the moral behind the book.

My personal opinion is that I would have loves the story to be longer, as I finished it within an evening and for character introductions to be more stable or descriptive.

Four college friends get together to go to Miami for there best friends Jess (Johansen) bachelorette party with the addition of Jess's friend from Australia. Alice (Bell) who is the wild one is Jess's best friend and does not want anyone else to come between them plans a wild weekend with her other friends Blair (kravitz) and Frankie (Glazer) and the addition of Pippa (mckinnion) Well drugs and alcohol get involved along with the person who they think is a stripper and then the unthinkable happens and they have to try and figure out a way out of it. What happens you got to watch

The cast is a who's who in the movie world today. A mixture of action and comedy come together to make this movie. However it is again another movie made of of other movies bits with a higher end cast hoping to make it better. A few really funny scenes but otherwise MEH

Learn about history from drunk people
The premise is that the host, Derek Waters goes to the house of various comedians and they drink copious amounts of alcohol. The guest comedian then narrates a true account of an historical figure that they are familiar with but they are inebriated while telling the story. Meanwhile, actors, comedians and Derek Waters play the roles of the historical figures and 'lip sync' whatever the guest narrator says. This can be very comical as the narrator slurs, burps, stutters or messes up the story in some way. Each episode has 2 or 3 guest comedians and there is usually a theme to each episode, i.e. civil rights, the west, etc. Everything the narrator says is obviously not 100% accurate, however, the basis is. I have actually learned a lot about historical figures because of Drunk History because I look up things about interesting characters I didn't know about.
