Yesssss
I found this movie while searching for movies with Chris Evans that I never saw before. This film also has Kim Basinger and William H. Macy. It is about a family who gets caught up with some crooked cops and Kim Basinger s son and herself get kidnapped. She figures out how to make a call to a random number on a phone the kidnapper smashed and winds up calling Chris' characters cell phone and he is now trying to save her and her son without knowing where they are. It is very exciting right until the end and I loved it. Worth a see if you like action films.

I don't have the app, so I can't give a review about it. I just use their website. I love Redbubble!! You can find almost anything there! People can also upload and sell their own art on products there. I've had to exchange/return a few things in the past, but the process and customer service is so easy to deal with! It's such a fun site to shop at. You can search for any game, show, movie, character, theme...whatever, and you're likely to find some designs! They sell their designs on shirts, bags, mugs, stickers, wall art, and much more. Go take a look! Sign up as a customer. They email coupons fairly often.

It's unbelievably unique, you won't get this film confused with anything else
If you have a wide sense of humour, it's actually really funny.
It has such cringy moments (2 more)
It's dirtier than necessary doesn't need to be so crude.
Adam Sandler's voice drives me crazy in this.
Crass but had it's funny moments
This movie is good, it's just a very crude film. The story itself is based on a rude event, so yeah. If you're of a nervous disposition don't watch it lol. Despite the crudeness it does have some hilarious moments and has some fab actors in it, also a random cameo!!

Considering the source material, I think the writers have come up with a pretty decent story, they also haven't shied away from the source either but made it palatable for the wider audience.

My son and I both thoroughly enjoyed it, there were giggles for grown ups and kids.
It moved at a fast pace but my son kept up with it all, and even gleaned most of the meaning when mixed languages were being spoken (he can't read all the words himself yet!)

It is what it is, a fun feel good family movie, with a little bit of a 90s comedy style to it.
Perfect to watch with the kids.

Moana (2016)
Moana (2016)
2016 | Adventure, Animation, Comedy
Typical Disney musical adventure, with Moana of the title the daughter of a Polynesia chieftain who sets off on a quest across the ocean waves in search of the demigod Maui (voiced by none other than Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson) in order to convince him to return stolen property to lift a curse.

The big draw is, of course, The Rock (to give him his wrestling name), whose character initially starts out as unlikeable before. by the end of the movie, not being as bad as originally thought.

I also had to chuckle at the "Daughter of a chieftain. Cute animal sidekick. You're a Princess" (to paraphrase somewhat) line that he came out with!

Fear is a Place
Session 9- is a scary movie. Setting with inside an abandoned insane asylum. Its creepy, the atmosphere of the abandoned insane asylum is creepy, chilling, scary and horrorfying.

The Plot: A tale of terror when a group of asbestos removal workers start work in an abandoned insane asylum. The complex of buildings looms up out of the woods like a dormant beast. Grand, imposing ... abandoned, deteriorating. The residents of Danvers, Massachusetts steer well clear of the place. But Danvers State Mental Hospital, closed down for 15 years, is about to receive five new visitors...

Its creepy, horrorfyng and scay. Also the twist at the ending is good as well.

A fun western starring Tim McCoy, king of the western at the time and who would make a biography full of stories for Hollywood to film. The movie is fun, with fast and realistic fight scenes. The story is also great, which despite being a cliché, it would be great if they were used for a series these days. We still have John Wayne, at the beginning of his career and with his excellent charisma already honed that would earn him the post of king of the western in the following decades. The film is fast, so all the unwinding too, but the film manages to close all the ends very well. I enjoyed it a lot.

Watched last night on paramount plus as I've never seen the first orphan film which intend to when I get back to the UK this weekend. Anyway the film its not that bad a film for a prequel without a doubt isabelle fuhrmann is the star of the films the fact that the film makers can somehow get her again to play a ten year old now she's in her 20s is remarkable and then there's Julia stiles as the unsuspecting mother who doesn't that Esther isn't her Esther is also good . Plus there's a twist halfway thru the movie didn't see coming anyway got to find the orignal orphan and watch it

San Andreas (2015)
San Andreas (2015)
2015 | Action
The new Warner Brothers movie San Andreas stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Chief Ray Gaines, Carla Gugino as Emma Gaines, Alexandra Daddario as their daughter Blake Gaines, Paul Giamatti as scientist Lawrence, Ioan Gruffudd as Daniel (Emma’s new love interest, as she & Chief Gaines are about to finalize their divorce), and Archie Panjabi as Serena, a reporter.

The movie opens with a gut-wrenching helicopter rescue lead by Chief Gaines where he rescues a girl from a car that has careened off the edge of a cliff and is hanging precariously over a river. He manages to sweep her out of the car just barely before the car crashes the rest of the way down the cliff which would have surely killed her.

In my opinion, the movie never stops delivering gut wrenching, edge of your set moments. I was holding my breath and on edge thru the entirety of the film.

This is definitely a movie that you absolutely do NOT want to wait and see at home, it NEEDS ‘the big screen’. I think it probably is also better in 3D as well, I think the 3D adds to the special effects and helps pull you into the movie.

I was able to connect to the characters and while some of the situations were really really far fetched (Gaines rescuing Emma off the top of a collapsing building in a rescue helicopter as it literally crumbled away beneath her), the dedication that his character showed in trying to get her to safety, really made the story work for me.

There were moments of cute comedy in the film, mostly in the interactions between Blake Gaines and the brothers Ben and Ollie (Hugo Johnstone-Burt and Art Parkinson) that helped break up some of the tension imposed by the continuous onslaught of the disasters caused by the biggest earthquakes ever recorded.

If you like action / disaster movies, and a decent story, you will like this film.

Rated PG-13, I wouldn’t bring young children, but I would bring older kids, aged 13 and up, as the rating suggests.

I would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars for a good story and edge of your seat action throughout.

There's a Dog...She's Finding Her Way Home
Just like the title indicates, a dog tries to find her way home after being separated 400 miles apart.

Acting: 4

Beginning: 8
I wasn’t completely sold after watching the beginning of A Dog’s Way Home, but it was at least a solid enough ten minutes to keep me interested. You quickly learn what’s happening, who to hate, and who to root for. It also tries to set expectations for just how cheesy and kiddy it’s going to be.

Characters: 3

Cinematography/Visuals: 10

Conflict: 7
The pup star of the show Bella does go on quite a bit of an adventure that produces some interesting bouts of conflict. Bella is on her own and has to do what she needs to do to survive, including finding food and staying warm. Even when she does manage to get to a safe place, there’s always the question of how she’s going to get back to her owner. Some of the occurrences are a little on the farfetched side, but I’ve seen worse.

Entertainment Value: 5

Memorability: 4

Pace: 10

Plot: 5

Resolution: 9
Even if you don’t like the movie as a whole, you can’t help but appreciate the ending. It’s full of cheese and sap, but I can be a sucker for those things even when I see them coming a mile away. I mean, come on, you really think a movie that’s titled A Dog’s Way Home won’t see the dog actually make it home? Sorry, SPOILER ALERT!

Overall: 65
My biggest issue with this movie is the gimmicky voiceover for Bella. It’s been done so many times before and it’s totally distracting and unnecessary. You take out the voiceover and the movie at least becomes bearable. As it stands, I can’t recommend it.
