A necessary book to read as a teenager
Reading J. D. Salinger's renowned book when you're younger makes perfect sense because you can relate to the main character, and his wayward ways while growing up. He's awkward, but most importantly he's on the brink of self-destruction which many teenagers can relate to. As an adult reading it, Holden Caulfield will seem like just an arrogant teenager, but as a young person you'll see he's just trying to find his way in the world, also bringing up awareness of mental health. A classic book.

What does feminism mean today? This explains what it means and offers a 20th century definition: inclusion and awareness. She points out institutional behaviours as well as blatant discrimination. She uses personal experiences to illustrate how bad this can be and what it means to be a woman today. Fantastic stuff!
Oh, and if you want to know whether I’d recommend it (the answer is yes), you only have to look at the example of Sweden, where they hand a copy of this book out to all teenagers, boys included, to read.

This was a quick little game. Since it is a two-player, my friend and I played it while our DM put the last few touches on a one-off D&D campaign. It took about 20 minutes from learning to play to checking the final scores. I enjoyed the puzzle aspect of the game, though I don't always have the spatial awareness to determine how a piece would fit on my board so my piece of patchwork had many holes!
