I went into this book with high expectations from all the hype and the synopsis sounded awesome. I didn’t love it but I also didn’t hate it. It was a bit slow getting into it and some parts got a little confusing throughout the book but it also had a good chunk of parts that had me not wanting to put the book down just because I wanted to see how certain parts played out. It is not a book I will likely read again but now I have read it.

Yes it's an in your face rude, crude teen sex comedy with a lot of nudity. If you're easy offended then you will be. It's pretty funny in places and just silly in others. However it comes across as a fun film that the cast enjoyed making. The unrated version of the film is quite odd to, as the director will tell you! Not quite up there with American Pie, Euro Trip etc but it should still cause quite a few laughs. That sure is an awesome car!

That was interesting - I was thinking as I was listening to it that I should have listened to this before I listened to Fangirl - then I got further into it and then I didn't feel too much like that - though I preferred Fangirl to this one - it was cool and somewhat harry potteresque - but different enough still. I definitely loved Simon, though Baz was awesome and I got distracted by both of them together lol .. cmon book I perhaps think I need more - maybe I should read some fanfic other than fangirl .........

Never read a memoir type book before, but now I think I will get more. This book was both sad and hilarious at the same time. There was a few lines in there and moments where I laughed out loud and had to re-read because I thought it was hilarious. Now, that being said, most of the book was quite sad (to the person reading it) I mean I don't think she found her life to be upsetting until she got old enough to know better, but man, that was an awesome read.

This book was awesome I couldn’t put it down I was hooked from page 1. Loved the characters and the plot. I loved that America is a strong character and is not fake and likes to just speak her mind. I love Maxon he Is just a misunderstood prince it was good to see his softer side as well as his strong decision making side #teamMaxon and Aspen... where to start ? crappy move buddy. I can’t wait to see what happens in book 2 picking it up right now ?

A short review. The jump scares were awesome if terrifying. The monsters or aliens or whatever they were sure sounded a lot like Jurassic Park raptors. John Krasinski looks hella sexy in his Ted Kaczynski beard. The little gal in here did an excellent job with her nonverbal communication. A quiet moody teen? I didn’t know there was such a thing. This movie is worth watching just to get to the last 30 seconds.

Didn’t live up to its promise
I really wanted to like this movie. I wanted it to be awesome, to make me shiver and look over my own shoulder. But despite three thrilling trailers, I found the back and forth style of narrative to be distracting from the story. I’d have preferred just straight narrative, beginning to end.

Other than that, it was cool that everyone sees something different, but not knowing what they are seeing made the horror less for me. Good try, but it just didn’t quite make it in my book.

Awesome
I was given this book for free by my request but the opinion is of my own. This book literally grabs you literally from the beginning and doesn’t let go. Marley is trying to start anew in college after dealing with bullying because of her seeing things no one else could. Suddenly she is pushed to see that just perhaps what was considered a mental illness is more real than given. Does end in a cliffhanger and I’m definitely wanting to read the rest.

A Good Mix
This movie was a great mix of funny and serious. Maya was an awesome character that you really wanted to see succeed even if she didn't go about it in a traditional way. For me the thing that really made this movie great were Maya's friends. All of them were hilarious, and it was nice to see such a strong group. They did a great job of mixing serious moments in without making this movie to heavy. I would highly suggest this if you are looking for something fun to watch.
