Were it all began
This movie may be as old as it gets, but It has stood the test of time and really like it. No one amazed me more than Donald Pleasance himself as Dr. Samuel Loomis, we all know how much of a legendary actor he is and I have never been more convinced. Everyone else play there roles brilliantly and everything else about this movie was so awesome, but in reality it's normally the characters that get the most credit with Halloween we also need to think and look at the music used and how it elevates the story. You've got to see this timeless classic, it puts the night of Halloween in a pretty creepy but mysterious perspective for all generations. I garuntee it!

It gets better!
Love it when a series get better in the second book, I absolutely love the story that is developing and cannot wait to read the next one. The characters are great and the relationships dynamic.

I love love love the new magical aspect, it is very good and interesting!

Such a good reveal, although the person realising the reveal takes faaaaaar too long!! I was so excited to read the last few pages.

I cannot wait to read the next book and I'm so glad I don't have to wait for releases.

My only negative comment would be around Celeana's fighting technique which is one minute flawless and the next minute pretty all over the place.

Gone With the Wind (1939)

"For me a favorite movie is a movie that you can watch at any time, and so I would say Gone With the Wind. I think the cool thing about Gone With the Wind… Well, this is what I decided, as I get older and more intelligent, why I like the film — because as a little kid I just loved the love story, and the Civil War was an interesting thing to me — but now it’s that I think it’s really cool to have the heroine of a film be someone that you really just don’t wanna like. You struggle liking her and I think that’s awesome. It is not a happy film. When it ends it’s just so heartbreaking, and I know it’s happening but I just can’t handle it every time."

Say Anything... (1989)
Say Anything... (1989)
1989 | Comedy, Drama, Romance

"First is Say Anything…. In terms of protagonists it doesn’t get any better than Lloyd Dobler, and John Cusack is kind of like the Holy Grail in terms of awesome ’80s protagonists that are kind of lost and don’t know what they want to do. That great speech where he says “I don’t wanna sell anything… bought, sold or processed” or whatever — you know that scene? — it’s just kind of a genius way of describing what a character’s going through. Quite frankly my character in this movie is going through a very similar thing: clearly a smart guy, probably kind of paralyzed in life because he’s done it to himself. He’s kind of over-thinking everything, so the only thing he can think of is to do nothing and work at Sun Coast video."

"This is referenced in my song 'I'm An Outlaw': "...an outlaw, burned from vinyl, dimed from cans, peaked to the dome". And that's some crazy, psychedelic, synth-y, weird funk. No offence to Miles, you know, unfortunately he's not with us, but fortunately he's not, because he's the weakest link on that record. At first he's awesome, and then some of his tone, it goes down south once in a while, but all the players, like John McLaughlin and the synth players, and if you listen to the record, especially in headphones, it's all - my theory is - going through modular synthesisers, all the percussion is going through envelope filters, but it's also panning non-stop. If you listen, it's unreal. If you crank it in headphones, it's full speed ahead!"

Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983)
Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983)
1983 | Fantasy, Sci-Fi
Let me start out with this: yes, I love space bears. Ewoks are my favorite alien species out of the entire universe.
Return of the Jedi is my favorite out of the original trilogy, and it's the one I've watched the most, with A New Hope coming in second. I thought it was awesome that Leia dressed up as the bounty hunter to free Han.
The scenes on Endor are my favorite, because it reminded me of the woods my grandmother lived in. This specific film inspired a lot of the stories I wrote as a kid.
Now, I do have a beef with the remastered versions: I absolutely HATE the 'NOOOOO' from Darth Vader when he goes for the Emperor, it's the worst and it makes me cringe every time I hear it.
