It's a good movie, Tim Burton's style completely, but the bad thing about versioning a classic is that the fans have expectations, those were not fulfilled.

I liked it but I was confused by it - whether that means the rest will be great or bad is unknown - it was definitely unique - it's the time travel aspect I find daunting perhaps?

This movie wasn’t bad persay, and I think it did a fairly good job of adapting the source material, it just also wasn’t very good. The script and the acting could’ve used some work.

Sci fi road trip with monsters also love story in the mix not bad movie likeable lead actions stunning locations good sfx on the monsters good way to pass the time away

Read the book don't see the movie

One of Crichton's best. It will be hard to put down once you start reading it. Too bad the people who made the movie never read it.

If you've watched the previous pitch perfect movies and you liked them,you'll like this one too. It's just similar really. Not bad but not amazing. Just the usual Pitch Perfect with cool songs.
