Wanda (20 KP) rated Fashionably Forever After (Hot Damned Series, Book 10) in Books
Jun 12, 2018
Oh Satan...You Devil!!!
Side-splitting, hysterical, lighthearted, sassy, and smexy read.
This has to be one of the top hilarious books from Ms. Peterman's.
Bad boy Satan wants his HEA, and being the Harbinger of Evil, he know just how to get get it. Of course, with a little help from his certifiable family.
A total must read to heat up this cold winter.
But recommend you read Fashionably Flawed First!!!

Carl Munden (6 KP) rated Head of the family (1996) in Movies

Upset the head and you’re dead
A Charles band movie that actually isn’t too bad. The head of the family is literally that, a giant head on a tiny body and the rest of his siblings are just as odd. I’m a sucker for these sort of films, it’s got full on weirdness, mixed in with a dose of nudity and a special Joan of arc scene. Who wants more from a movie

Lilyn G - Sci-Fi & Scary (91 KP) rated Predator (1987) in Movies

Very good for an 80s action movie
This is one of those movies you love because of how bad it is. Well, that and the sheer amount of fun you have watching a thick-accented commando going up against horrifically ugly aliens.
I remember nothing about this movie other than enjoying the heck out of it and simultaneously having the desire to never watch it again.
Honestly, it's pure cheesy magic, isn't it?

The meg (2 more)
Jason statham
Rainn wilson
Just come back from watching the meg its not bad a movie for a modern jaws type movie jason statham bascally plays the same type of character he always plays rainn wilson always makes me laugh. Anyway the star of the movie is of course the shark and it looks so realistic would have prefered if it was rated higher than a 12

Kevin Phillipson (10072 KP) rated A Simple Favor (2018) in Movies

Anna kendrick (1 more)
Blake lively
Just been to see this movie it's not bad movie kinda reminded me a bit of gone girl with the plot and Anna kendrick always good plus Blake lively as her missing friend. Anyway the film keeps us guessing right too the end with all the sub plots and red herrings would have liked it more if it was less like gone girl and been slightly different movie

Dean (6927 KP) rated Pyewacket (2017) in Movies
Sep 27, 2018 (Updated Sep 27, 2018)
Missed opportunity
A slow burner of a horror which is more psychological creepy than really scary. It's very subtle with the scares which come about more from the atmosphere created. Unfortunately the ending felt rushed and fell flat. Also a couple of things just didn't fit in how the characters would act in certain situations.
Overall not bad, but after a slow good build up it falls apart a little at the end.

Cori June (3033 KP) rated Tiger's Destiny in Books

Much lower review than the other books because for Kelsey to like Shakespeare so much, she finds herself in that type of situation too often. Plus even though she "chose" and by not wanting to hurt people's feelings she is just hurting a lot of people. So, while I like the book it is like "being stuck in a bad soap opera". All it does is make her looks selfish.

Holiday Fun

Santa being just a little bad for the right reasons. A police cash and reindeer on the loose. As Santa and a sibling duo race to save Christmas. Throw in some seriously cute and well trained elves and you have a family movie night that will be filled laughs and and heartfelt years. So get the popcorn and settle in for a night of family bounding time.
Fantastic
I absolutely loved this series. So much that I'm now reading the book just so I can make it last longer. The fact we're seeing stalking from the stalkers perspective is so chilling but addictive to watch. At quite a lot of points you could feel bad for Joe and in the end you are rooting for him because of his charming character. I am really hoping for a second series.

David McK (3557 KP) rated Aliens Omnibus: "Earth Hive", "Nightmare Asylum" v. 1 in Books
Jan 30, 2019
Omnibus edition containing two spin-off novels from Fox's Alien franchise: Earth Hive, and Nightmare Asylum.
Reading these, I kinda get the impression they were released before Ali3n - definitely before Resurrection - as they're very much modeled on Aliens (that's the second one: the one with the 'S'). While, for spin-off novels, they're actually not that bad, they're also not going to win any awards for literature, or set the world on fire!
