Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Rules of Attraction (Perfect Chemistry, #2) in Books
Jan 6, 2021
I do really like this series. The Fuentes brothers have grown on me a lot. I absolutely loved Alex, and Carlos wasn't so bad either, but Alex is still my favourite. I'm off to start Luis' story now.
P.S. I love that end bit--the 26 years later but--with the kid who's so like Carlos used to be when he was that age. It's kinda funny to see him reacting like he is.

Joe Goodhart (27 KP) rated Faction Paradox: Erasing Sherlock (Faction Paradox, #5) in Books
Nov 30, 2020
Full of "Mary Sue"-isms and fannish wank, the book does one hell of a disservice to both the Faction Paradox mythos as well as to anything [Sherlock] Holmes-related! The lead character, Gillian, is neither likeable nor someone whom you hope succeeds! Sure, there are probably worse Holmes pastiches out there, but I'll stake my nose on it that none of them will be as bad as this drek! 100% certifiably AVOIDABLE! 'Nuff said!
Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Lockout (The Alpha Group, #2) in Books

Well I have to be in the mood to read erotica and it seems I wasn't when I read this.
That's not to say it was bad because it isn't, I just sort of skipped through some bits and read others so that I got the gist but I cant say I got really into it.
Will still buy the third to find out what happens in the end of the trilogy.

Emma @ The Movies (1786 KP) rated Sherlock Gnomes (2018) in Movies

Garden gnomes, Gnomeo & Juliet, recruit renowned detective Sherlock Gnomes to investigate the mysterious disappearance of other garden ornaments.
I really wasn't sure where I was going to fall on this one. It was fine, but predictable. Very predictable. It passed the time with some chuckles but nothing that really split my sides. I doubt this will be one I'll watch again. It's main benefit is that it isn't as bad as Duck Duck Goose.

Just watched aty local Cineworld it's not bad very violent and Russell crowe gone full psycho a side of him we don't normally see in the movies for me the real star of the movie is Caren pistotius showing off her emotions as she slowly terrorised by crowe some of the violence was graphic but it was worth a couple of hours spent In the cinema
Ross (3284 KP) rated Wheels of Fire by Cream in Music

Rolling Stone's 205th greatest album of all time
Great studio album by Cream, featuring White Room and a cover of Born Under a Bad Sign, it is a band performing at their best. The intricate drumming meets the superb guitar-work in well-controlled and produced songs.
The live album is a long rambling self-indulgent mess. I don't mind the odd drum solo but over 5 minutes is too long, by about 4.5 minutes.

Rolling Stone's 203rd greatest album of all time
Superb from start to finish, a sublime album. It is amazing how many of his songs, and some of the best pop songs of all time, are on this one album. From the epic rock anthem Bad, to the introspective Man in the Mirror, the funky Smooth Criminal and the disco of Another Part of Me (which reminds me of the cringeworthy Captain EO 3D film).
