Saving Jasmine is the first book in the Satan's Bears series, and we are quickly thrown into the story. Maisy is twenty-four years old, responsible for her younger sister, Jasmine. Maisy is the one on the straight and narrow, Jasmine, the wild child. However, Maisy will work in a biker bar to get information on where her sister is. Stud in the leader of the bikers, and quickly claims Maisy for his own.
This was a very rough and ready story, almost raw in its execution. Although you get some information about the various groups, you don't get a lot, and that did leave me feeling like I had missed out. I found the characters to be rather weak and one dimensional, especially Stud. However, Maisy seemed happy with him, so I guess that's something.
This was a fast-paced story, so be prepared. If you are looking for a 'down and dirty' read, then this book may be just what you are looking for.

I found the characters to be rather weak and one dimensional, especially Stud. However, Maisy seemed happy with him, so I guess that's something.
This was a fast-paced story, so be prepared. If you are looking for a 'down and dirty' read, then this book may be just what you are looking for.

Sleepaway Camp 1982: 3D Jason
So this one is my favorite out of all them, its goes 3, 1, 4, 7, than who knows after that. The kills are fantastic, this movie is the first time you see Jason wearing the Hockey Mask. Plus its in 3D, yes thats right, 3D. Plus my second charcter Shelby. Thats right, he's my second favorite charcter, besides Jason. The loveable Shelby, fell so bad for him. Most to all of the deaths realie on the 3D espect, which is cool.
The plot: The third installment in the "Friday the 13th" series picks up on the day after the carnage with homicidal maniac Jason Voorhees (Richard Brooker) stealing some clothes and killing a local store owner. Meanwhile, Chris (Dana Kimmell) and her sometimes boyfriend, Rick (Paul Kratka), are hosting a group of teenage friends at Chris' lake house. Cocky Biker was, all in all, a pretty good read. I enjoyed the story line and I loved the characters. I especially liked how they were bikers, but they did good, instead of just looking BA and kicking butt. But I feel like it could have been written a bit better - there were a lot of grammatical errors and moments where the wording just didn't sound right. Also, I'm a bit biased when it comes to perspective and prefer first person point of view, so some of my issues with how it was written could totally just be because of that. Also, though I know it was supposed to be a character trait of Jett's, the fact that he hardly ever used a 'g' at the end of his words drove me absolutely insane. The story, in a way, was predictable.
**SPOILER ALERT** I wasn't surprised when Luna ended up pregnant, though I will say it was a sweet way to end things.
It was nice, however, to read about a man who's more than ready for commitment and a woman who's not; I'm not saying these stories aren't available, just that I don't run across them often and the role reversal was refreshing.<br/>P.S: I did not appreciate the times when Jett called Luna a bitch, especially when it was behind her back. Not necessarily "good guy" material.

Ride to Hell..and stay there!
Ride to hell retribution was obviously designed to cash in on the success of popular tv show Sons of Anarchy, which it fails to and if you haven't had the unfortunate time wasting so called opportunity...you have no idea how lucky you are.
announced in 2008 and cancelled later the same year was just the beginning.
Ride to Hell has been donned one of the worst video games ever, broken and repetitive gameplay, terrible controls, outdated graphics, poor voice acting, poor A.I, the most awkward sex scenes, seriously offensive portrayal of women, almost constant bugs and glitches, and dropped original plan for it to be an open world.
Plot:
1969
Vietnam veteran Jake Conway returns home to his family of bikers, uncle Mack and brother Mikey. Mikey has grown distant from his brother and uncle, but is infatuated with his college friend and tutor, Ellie, who likes bands.
Mikey leaves angered when Mack refuses to allow him to go to a concert with Ellie.
Mack sends Jake after him
after consoling, they go to a diner.
Outside they're confronted by The Devil's Hand bike gang.
Jake intervenes as Devil's Hand member notices Mikey's jacket causing a chase.

Intriguing but short
The world as we know it has pretty much ended. One day in the recent past, something appeared in the sky and anyone who saw it, or subsequent recordings of it, either died instantly or went mad gradually.
We meet Howard, who seems to have no memory prior to page 1 of the book, which serves nicely to give us an introduction to how the world changed in ... The Change. He assumes his name is Howard because it is written in the front page of a notebook he finds on his person.
He is moving around the M2 motorway that surrounds London, full of stationary cars (good to see some things didn't change when the world ended) and dead bodies, very reminiscent of early scenes in the Walking Dead.
He soon finds himself taken in by a biker gang who have made themselves a community in a former Welcome Break service station.
The community is attacked by an unusual monster and we follow him and his new best friend, Hubcap, as they try to survive.
The story is intriguing, but quite what happened with The Change, is barely touched on, and neither is Howard's strange amnesia and what he feels he needs to do (travel into London).
The action is exciting, the dialogue well written and the cast of bikers and hangers-on are well crafted. However, the book is so short and largely has no real plot as such, just a series of things happening, and the reader is left wanting more.
Not a childrens book as such, but safely young adult.

The Sins of The Father Are Visited On The Sons…
When this show initially premiered I dismissed it entirely. I instantly assumed that it was just some manly, cheesy rubbish that wasn’t worth my time. How small minded of me. It was only after the caretaker in my work recommended that I give it a go that I went back to it. For the first few episodes, it seemed as though I was right. A bunch of leather clad manly bikers shooting up rival gangs and blowing stuff up, but stick with this show and you will see just how deep the rabbit hole really goes. The writing here is phenomenal, the show was created and co-written by Kurt Sutter, who also plays Otto in the show. He is clearly a literary genius, as he also penned The Shield, as well as the recent, brilliantly written Jake Gyllenhall boxing movie, Southpaw. The show follows a gang of bikers called SAMCRO, (the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original,) loosely based on the real life biker gang, The Hell’s Angels, (a few of which’s members actually have cameo roles in the show,) our protagonist is a young man named Jackson Teller, he is the son of John Teller, the original founder of the biker gang. Soon after Jax was born, his father was killed in a traffic collision, although it is suspected that there is more to his death than just that. Since then his mother Gemma has remarried to the current President of the gang, a man called Clay Morrow, who was also John Teller’s best friend and who co-founded the gang along with JT. When the show begins Jax is Clay’s Vice president, or VP and when Clay begins to lead the club on what Jax sees as a more violent, destructive path, he opposes him and he seeks a way to maintain the club, without having to kill anyone or take part in any shady business. Clay sees Jax as an idealist and tells him so, but Jax is persistent in his ideals, as he believes that this is the way that his Father would have wanted the club to be ran. The supporting cast of characters also add a lot to the overarching plot and each have their own respective back stories. There is Tara, Jax’s ex girlfriend, whom he falls back in love with, Gemma, who is Jax’s mother and the matriarch of the club, then there is Tig, Clay’s triggerman initially, but as the show goes on we see that he has a softer side, then there is Opie, Jax’s best friend from a young age who initially wants to leave the biker life behind, but after certain events in the first season of the show unfold, circumstances force him to stay by Jax’s side. There is also Chibs, the Scotsman who doesn’t mess about when it comes to dealing with a problem, there is also Happy, an emotional psychopath who is also played brilliantly by a real life ex Hell’s Angel member. Then there is Juice, a young Latino man who struggles with his personal demons throughout the show and lastly there is Bobby Elvis, another older member of the group who may be a big softie on the cover, but can also handle himself if anyone tries to cross him. From after the first season, the plot begins to twist and turn as we witness several double crosses and multiple agendas come into play and one of my favourite things about this show is that even though Jax is clearly the protagonist, he isn’t always the good guy and he makes some questionable decisions when he is put under pressure. I don’t want to say much else as I’m worried that I will spoil the show, but it definitely is worth your time and I would definitely recommend this show to anyone who is interested in a good crime saga.

Not quite sure where I stand on this book! It definitely needs a trigger warning for several reasons! I was searching somewhere through for one of these “men” to redeem yea Hawk isn’t as bad as the others. I did enjoy the writing style I’m just still not sure of where it’s going I like a bit of dark but is this too dark?

Well that’s so much better! I’ve had a few ups and downs so far with this series but I really enjoyed this one. Setora is just a really good character and despite her circumstances she just keeps fighting. I’m onboard with her men although Sheriff still needs shaking really hard!!! The epilogue in this book has me on edge I need to know what happens with Steel! Really enjoyed it.

Well that’s so much better! I’ve had a few ups and downs so far with this series but I really enjoyed this one. Setora is just a really good character and despite her circumstances she just keeps fighting. I’m onboard with her men although Sheriff still needs shaking really hard!!! I don’t do anything by halves. But that’s before Sienna Morgan waltzed into town acting like she owns the place, and now she does, well the clubhouse at least. One minute I’m sent to extract an offer to give us back what’s rightfully ours, the next she’s on the back of my sled and I’m about to lose my mind. I don’t do romance and I’m not looking for an ol’ lady, but that’s all about to change. I don’t mean to make her mine, but then again, rules are meant to be broken and I’m on the right side of wrong.
Sienna: He’s bad. He’s mean. He’s kind of hot in a 'don’t mess with me' kind of way. But I’m no fool, I know this town’s run by bikers and I have something they want, something they need. I just never thought it would come to this and I’d be in the middle of a mess I may not be able to get out of. The more I try to run the closer he gets. I don’t know if I can keep resisting but my own haunted past lurks in the shadows, ready to pounce if I let it. I fear Steel may become an addiction but I can’t let that happen, I can’t let him get too close because if I do, he may just break me in half for good.
I really enjoyed this it’s exactly as you expect it too be! I did fall in love with Steel from the start he’s definitely a character you’d want to find down a dark alley. The balance of story and spice was well written and you actually got brought into the world. I’m not used to MC books that don’t involve a supernatural element so this was a new one for me and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m already looking forward to finding out more about these men.
