DNF 1

I had a huge 7 5⭐️’s this month! My absolute favourite was House of Blood and Earth I cried buckets and got so invested in the book!
One of my 5⭐️’s was #fromabox The Silver road was just so good and I highly recommend it!

Jessie Keane and Peter McKeirnon are fast becoming two of my favourite authors and you couldn’t get two books further apart lol.

My DNF this month was an indie book and I just couldn’t get along with it!

I’m hoping to add a few more than 18 in July it’s been a busy month!

We are back in the thick of Cole McGinnis being a very dangerous person to be around. Everyone who gets close to him gets shot, and he usually ends up with pieces of their blood, bone and brain in his mouth. This time, there is a mystery surrounding a Korean fortune-teller and her clients, who are being killed off. I'll be honest, this confused me and I'm still not sure about the WHY of what happened.

Very well-written, and fast-paced with enough action to please everyone. This continues the series and the relationship between Cole and Jae-Min. Definitely to be read as part of the series and not standalone! Recommended.

* I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. *

A step out my comfort zone but a very good one!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

Cian is sent on a journey to find out who or what is causing all the deaths in his village.

I really enjoyed this! It's a step out my comfort zone, and a very good one at that.

I'd class it as high fantasy. Very Tolkien-esque, with an epic journey, lives at stake, elves, dwarves, centsaurs, sea serpents on the rampage and a madman, messing with dark blood magic.

Throw in a slow burn sweet romance, between Cian and his guide, Thanyon, and you've got a near perfect book!

Only Cian gets a say, though, and at points, he had a lot to say.

But a fabulous read.
