My favourite book of the month was The Body Reader by Anne Fraiser it was just brilliant! Also Justice is Red by Peter Mckeirnon was really good too!

My least favourite was Convenience Store Woman my I came out not understanding what I’d read it was so odd.

My DNFS were at 3 this month so not too bad!

Oh lord these films keep getting worse. I had high hopes after First Class, but Brian Singer has insisted on tainting this story as well. Full rant filled podcast review on the blog.

Only one more hopefully, now Disney have brought Fox we should get a reboot and something half decent 😆

With animal rights and hunters at her inn, Magdalena has her hands full before a dead body turns up. The mystery comes late and is light, but the characters are fun.

"An extraordinary book by an extraordinarily powerful poet. Clifton writes about the body and the state of womanhood like no other. Like the other poets I've mentioned on this list, Clifton doesn't suffer any fools in her writing and always goes straight for the jugular when talking about race, feminism, love and anger."
