Leah on the Off Beat
Leah is a spin-off in the Simon vs. the Homosapian Agenda world. Pleasant surprise, Leah has been hiding the fact that she is bi from everyone. Now that we see inside her head we can understand her point of view as she goes through her senior year, and everything is changing.

Dean (6927 KP) rated Traitor (2008) in Movies
Apr 30, 2019
A good action thriller that seems to have gone under the radar? A great cast, with a good story that will keep you guessing. Feels similar to the likes of the Siege, Body of lies etc due to the main themes in the story. The action scenes are very good. So if you enjoy a well made action/thriller this deserves a wider audience.

Super fast console that performs well
Aesthetics of this console are great, as it doesn't look body and old fashioned like the X-Box, with a slim and futuristic exterior. When playing AAA games, the console runs super smooth and sharp displaying amazing graphics with minimal effort. My only problem is the internet system, as it is very slow and buggy

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2355 KP) rated Shooting Gallery (An Art Lover's Mystery, #2) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
While attending a showing for a sculptor, Annie Kincaid discovers a body swinging from a tree. To make things more puzzling, her own mother seems to have a connection to the dead person. This is a wild cozy caper with plenty of twists and great characters.

A producer has come to town with sites set on making a movie based on local history. But Lee thinks something isn't right and starts to investigate. She's hardly started when she finds a dead body. Another fast moving mystery with characters I love to visit.

Andi McConnell inherits a limo from an eccentric relative. She's just beginning to enjoy it when she finds a body in the trunk. Why did he die and why was he put in her trunk? The book is entertaining, but the mystery drags slightly at times.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2355 KP) rated Murder Uncorked (A Wine Lover's Mystery, #1) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Nikki Sands takes a new job at a Napa Valley winery and finds a dead body on her first day. The plot was entertaining until the weak ending, but none of the characters came alive for me. And the writing style was weak as well.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2355 KP) rated $10,000 in Small, Unmarked Puzzles (Puzzle Lady #13) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Cora is asked to make the drop for a blackmail payment. But instead of an empty dumpster, she finds a dead body seconds before the police show up. As always the story is very funny, but it also had the usual too quick wrap up.

The new French restaurant in the village is the latest victim of the arsonist hitting the area. Only this time, a body is found in the aftermath. The colorful characters are back in full force and the plot is another great puzzle.
