Making Over Maya by Michele de Winton
"Girls could do anything, and she was about to prove they could have everything to"

This book review is for the first and second book in the Hot Tide series.

The hot tide series follows the lives of competitive surfers who are taking on the various waves and beaches around the world. The first book follows Summer, an up and coming surfer who is eager to break out into the surf circuit and Ashton, a former surfer turned photographer. They were high school sweethearts along time ago but were left feeling bitter after a messy breakup. The second book follows Maya, a PR consultant for all things surf-ey and Dominic, the business mogul who is looking to take on the surfing community. Maya and Dominic start working together to rebrand his image but also to help Maya get the man of her dreams.

GHOST OF A CHANCE is the second book in the Redclaw Security series, and I was delighted to get the opportunity to read it.

Sarah starts off a bit dubiously but don't worry. She comes into her own. She just needs to figure things out first. Casey is a wonder from the very start. I don't think there was a moment when I didn't like him.

There is mystery and plenty of steamy times in this book, although both Sarah and Casey fight it to begin with. I loved how Redclaw had Casey's back even though he was determined he wasn't part of them anymore.

This book has an amazing cast of characters, and once again, we had Ryker! Woot!!! With no errors that disrupted my reading, I was engrossed from start to finish.

I am loving the Redclaw Security series and have no hesitation in recommending both this book and the series. Brilliant!

The start of a good, long series (0 more)
A Magisterial Read
This first book came free when I pre ordered another book, and at first, I paid it no attention. One day, I found it, and I have not looked back.
The series gives something different in each book, and the first gives all the info to the world, without playing the excessive exposition game.
This universe is set in the Nepolionic war, but in this reality, alongside the Marines and Navy, there is also the Arial Corp, where the men fight from the back of massive dragons!
They have a hyerachy on bord, with captains bonded strongly with their dragons, who are themselves, strong characters.
There is a rich mythology within this series, and includes topics like political strife, religion, slavery and historical events, adapted to include it's scaly new additions.
Both a great read for fantasy and history lovers alike, give this book a go, and see if you read all 9.

I loved Ginnie and Tillies adventures through this series. Both characters are full of life, somewhat sassy, and imaginative. Plus, I think they portray qualities that most kids of that age display. But one of my favorite things about this book (Really the series) is that Monique Buchger uses real life situations such as dysfunctional families, bullies, etc., to show the right ways to approach a situation. I truly commend her for not shying away from the tough issues and doing it in a clean way. While this is most likely the last book in this series, I hope to see more of Ginnie and Tillies adventures in the future.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars for the creative characters, the themes displayed, and for leaving me smiling.
*I volunteered to read this book in return for my honest feedback. The thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

I suppose I should make this quick: after enjoying the first so much, it's hard not to go into this book and not love every moment.
There's plenty of action, and the first chapters contain far more than I had anticipated, though, this was extremely welcomed. A lot of the time I find myself disappointed in the second book of a series, especially within trilogies, but this was not the case - rather than the plot slowing down, the entirety of the book feels purposeful following a largely similar structure to the first. Alina's character feels like she becomes far more developed, more than two-dimensional, and some of my favourite characters of the Grishaverse are introduced in this book: these also being ones that most fans are fond of, in case you need something more to look forward to.
Overall, this book beat the expectations I had of it, having gone into the series blind as I usually try and do. Whether you're a fan of the first book or not, it's worth continuing with the series, and if you loved it then I doubt your opinion will change on it at all.

I fell in love with this series several years ago now with the first book in the series On Dublin Street where we met Joss and Braden and their amazing group of friends. I have read this series out of order, having read book 4, Fall from India Place, before this one but it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, although some storylines arc through all the books.

I was really enjoying this up until the 65-70% mark before it all went to hell. Yeah, they have to have something that tears them apart or it would be a boring book, but at the same time it annoys the heck out of me. Things were going so well.

I had tears silently pouring from my eyes for a good ten minutes as I read their falling out and the obvious pain they were both in but I really wanted to smack Nate in the face a few times.

Never the less, they worked things out in the end--obviously!--and end up another great couple in this amazing series. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This is the 2nd book in Baldacci's Camel Club series. Just like the 1st it was a fast paced thriller. This time it involved a casino owner, con men, & a defense contractor. Not to mention the Library of Congress, book restoreres & librarians. Oliver Stone is on his game again, as is Baldacci. Great read!

Bester's biography from a kid to the opening of the Babylon 5 TV series. There are some interesting parts, but it's often a dull, try book that still tries to cover too much territory.
