I guess this was a good lead up to the next and final book in the series, the one where hopefully Kaylee and the gang kick some serious demon arse and get rid of Avari and the other two evil bleeders forever. It's been a long time brewing and I'm sure it will be really good.

As I've mentioned before, this isn't my favourite series but I have to admit it does seem to be getting better the more I read (though truthfully, I didn't think it was as good as the last book).

I've spent the last week or so reading this series and this one has taken me the longest. I don't normally do so well reading one book after the other in a series but with this, i had to. I needed to know if they could bring the bad guys down and get their HAE, and they did, it just took a long time.

I'm interested in reading more books by the author to see if they're as addictive as this series has been.

My review for Half a King is now up, though a warning it does contain some minor spoilers from early in the book and possibly some later if you connect the dots. Anyway with 35 minutes before the deadline it's better than last time.
I'll now be moving on to the second book on this series 'Half a War'.

This is the first book I've read by this author and omg I am hooked. I cannot wait to read more in this series. It is hot and wonderful and the characters caught me and held me and I felt like I was in the book with them. I really enjoyed it and the writing was superb. Amazing

Life gets darker in the sixth in the series. The pace was better then the last book, but I really didn't care for the cliffhanger ending. I have little patience for books that don't give some resolution.

Nan's attempts to get a date via an on-line dating service end in another murder for the twins to solve. Sadly, this was the last book in a great series. I still miss the adventures of these twins.

The sixth book in the Luanne Fogarty series finds Luanne helping the sheriff when recent bones are discovered in an old slave cemetery. Once again, the great characters and the intriguing story are complimented by the wonderful writing.
