Encounter with the Devil is the third book in the Broken Halos series, and it continues right where book two left off. Hel and Eric have gone through the portal and are now in hell. Eric wants to stay as far away from his dad as he can, but it turns out they have no choice but to meet him, and a few others, along the way.

Such a great continuation of the story! I loved Hel's attitude with Lucifer, Beezlebub, Colt, and Leviathan, to name some. This girl takes no prisoners LOL I also loved how Eric stands back and doesn't try to prevent any of it happening. There is plenty of action and revelations in this book, but don't worry, you will still have more questions that haven't been answered yet.

As always, there were no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted me. The world-building is very precise (especially with this book being based in one location), and the characters continue to delight and amuse. This IS part of a series though, and MUST be read after books one and two. However, it will also leave you NEEDING book four immediately, so fair warning!

I am loving this series and have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

Unique combination of emotion and science
Almost too close for comfort
The first book in one of my favourite trilogy's. I love this series and its ability to make short jumps in scientific advancement from where we are currently to the potential of what we might become. The scientific basis of this series brings up very modern issues regarding ethics regarding both human and non-human life. A series that makes you reflect on decisions you make as an individual and as a human existing on earth. Thought provoking, never shying away from 'taboo' subjects

Well, I was surprised!!
My first Jack Campbell book, and it won't be my last! I should probably have read the Lost Fleet series first as this is the start of the prequel series. This was fast paced, exciting and kept me interested enough over Christmas and New Year whilst the family watched all of the repeated movies! This follows Rob Geary and his fellow explorers, as they set up home on a new planet and all of the problems they have with a neighbouring star system.
I'll be keeping an eye out for the rest of the series!

Such a cute series of books!!
I always love going back to cross roads (each series is a stand alone) but they all have interconnections if that makes sense :)
Each of these Authors brings a unique story to the table, they all have different ways of showing emotions, character mentalities, and creative stories. I truly enjoy reading their stories and connecting with their characters.
I recommend putting this series on your To Be Read list.
I volunteered to read this book in return for my honest feedback, the thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

ARGH!!! What is it with authors lately and cliff-hanger endings?!?! First the Gypsy Brothers series and now this one.

BUT I love Zeth. He's not your typical bad guy; he is the baddest bad guy who's sexy as hell and into some rather kinky stuff.

Yeah, erotica is not my favourite genre ever but sometimes...well I find the perfect blend of erotica and budding romance and that is this series. You can just tell that something amazing is going to happen between Sloane and Zeth.

Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I read Aleatha's Consequences series last year. I waited a whole year after reading Consequences to be able to purchase the rest. Despite how it started, I found myself really enjoying the series and experiencing the ups and downs. I was hesitant to read Infidelity, because I didn't know if it could live up, but I truly believe it has surpassed Aleatha's other series. Betrayal was a whirlwind of secrets, surprises, and wit. It was also downright sexy. I read the free e-book in a matter of hours and was left wanting more. I look forward to reading the next installment!

I just love quick and fun mysteries. This book was one of those. I gave this book 4 stars. It is the first book in a series but not the first one I have read of hers. I have read this series out of order. It was nice to finally know somethings about the main character.
The main character is Molly Pink and she is a widow. Her husband left her in a good position so that she didn't have to work if she didn't want to. She has decided to go work and she works at a book store as an event coordinator. One of the events she has is a crocheting club, which she doesn't know how to do at the beginning of the book. The main leader in this group is murder and who finds her. You guess it it is Molly. You learn about the crochet leader and Molly in this book. One of the detectives is dating Molly and the other has it out for her because she wants Molly boyfriend. Did Molly kill the crochet leader? What about the boyfriend issue.I am afraid to go into a lot of detail because I don't want to spoil it for you.
At the back of the book the author gives you a recipe and a crochet pattern. I always like the little extras.
I hope you read this book and the rest of the series. They are fun.
