His best book IMO
An early ish Discworld book and the first to introduce Death.
Because of the vast number of Discworld books written there is a lot of crossover in the later books and a lot of folklore building. The actual stories sometimes suffer for this but not in Mort. It works as a standalone as well as part of the series.
I'm so glad and lucky to have a signed copy.
RIP Terry Pratchett.

As the pulses finally draw to a close, 13 year old Beth Branning witnesses a murder. If she keeps quiet, will she be safe? This is the fourth book in a series I have enjoyed, but this one tried to cram too much into the pages. As a result, it wasn't as good as it should have been.

This tie in to the TV series BURN NOTICE finds former spy Michael Weston trying to track down a husband who stole his wife's fortune while figuring out a way to keep a former Russian spy from killing him. The book captures the characters and tone of the show perfectly, but the plot was a bit weak.

Can't put it down
This book series is taking over my life. I love every bit of it. Once I pick up a book I can't put it down. Branden Sanderson has a way of writing that draws the reader into the giant world he has created. You'll fall in love with the characters, cry at deaths that are even just the side characters, and feel lost without this world when you are done.

I didn't know how to rate this book - whether I'd rate this book a 4 or a 5. It read very different for me, I hadn't read anything like it I must say. It was more dark than I had expected which I LOVED - it was short, which I also liked, it was very to the point and so intriguing I couldn't get over it. so fun, so interesting, I can't wait to read the rest of the series

I read this book around 10 years ago so excuse my vagueness and lack of detail. While I love its premise, the characters in Uglies annoyed me and I found them hard to relate to. Granted I was around 12 years old and I think I may be due for a reread. I nonetheless am grateful to this book and its series because it was my gateway into YA Dystopian which is now one of my favorite sub-genres.

I love the series Stranger things so when I saw this book i grabbed it straight away.

It's easy to fall in love with the characters as they are so relatable and a mix of personalities.
I loved the pace of this book, it was quick and straight to it. No hanging about.

If you love stranger things then you will love this, it really will turn your world upside down.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third book I've read in the Sukey Reynolds series and so far it's my favorite.

A woman is dead. Another woman is dead. These don't seem to have anything in common but our girl Sukey has a hunch that they do.

The dialogue in this one crackles and the detective work is exceptionally well written.

What a treat, I find the whole concept of this story line so interesting and I just can't put it down! I need another book!!! Please???

READ. THIS. NOW.
Wow. I read a lot of books and very few have the ability to stick around and make me think about it for days on end. Vicious is that book. Being able to love and hate both Eli and Victor simultaneously is a task that only VE Schwab could accomplish. The plot was so fast paced that I genuinely couldn't put the book down. READ IT NOW!
