Cynthia Armistead (17 KP) rated Tracker (Foreigner, #16) in Books
Mar 1, 2018
I loved this book in some ways, but I hated the ending, which didn't wrap up most of the plot threads. I also found the constant rehashing of prior events to be tiresome. Let's be honest: nobody is going to be able to follow this series by starting anywhere but at the beginning, and those who do already know all that stuff!
Percy and his friends must travel through the ever changing labyrinth of Daedalus to try to save their camp. The action and use of Greek myth was still fun, but it felt very formulaic after reading the first three in the series.

Erika (17789 KP) rated Patsy Walker A.K.A. Hellcat! Volume 1: Hooked on a Feline in Books
Feb 11, 2018
I really liked this graphic novel collection, and was completely bummed when I found out that Marvel cancelled the series after Volume 3. The art is so cute and plucky. Patsy goes from unemployed to opening up a temp agency for people with super powers. She's got a lot of issue and baggage, but she gets through it. Overall, a fun book.
Clare Parrott (294 KP) rated The Collar (Submissive, #6) in Books
Feb 13, 2018
A super sexy read that I enjoyed, I never read any of the previous books in the series and it didn't detract from the story. Only thing I would say is 'the bad guy' in the book was a bit of a wash out and ended up being a minor irritation. I thought he would have been more of a problem to Dena.
Kali Stone (3 KP) rated Insanity (Insanity, #1) in Books

Wonderland meets London
I really like this series, I just started book 8 today and can barely put it down. It blends all the characters from Wonderland into the real world beautifully. I highly recommend it.
Kristin (149 KP) rated XO, Blake (The Undergrad Years, #3) in Books
Dec 7, 2018
OMG, I absolutely LOVED this book! Blake's been one of my fave characters for this series since I started it, and I was so excited to get into his backstory. And believe me, I was NOT disappointed! Definitely check this out if you're any type of fan of The Manhattanites!
5 stars (because they wouldn't let me give any more)

Caffeinated Fae (464 KP) rated The Lightning Thief in Books
Jul 10, 2018
This was a quick and entertaining read. The characters felt a little flat to me but I think it is because it is for a younger reader. This would be a good book for kids. I found myself enjoying the story line. The plot is interesting. I might continue on in the series if I am looking for another quick read.
Alicia S (193 KP) rated Thoughtful (Thoughtless, #1.5) in Books
Sep 28, 2018
Beautiful and heartbreaking.. God, I LOVE this series!! Enjoyed taking my time with this book, savoring every precious moment and thought in his head as well as revisiting this incredible story. Ive always loved Kiera, feeling so much like her, with her constant insecurities and nervousness. Reliving it all again thought Kellan's POV was heart wrenching... but I loved every moment ;-)
Alicia S (193 KP) rated Ensnared (The Life of Anna, #4) in Books
Sep 28, 2018
OMG, this series.. so dark and twisted yet I can't seem to get enough!? Reading this was painful, yet I still had hope and couldn't put it down. Ive been holding onto my own grief of loosing Alex in the last book and this one was even more painful without him.. Painful, yes, but I LOVE it... MUST READ MORE!!
Alicia S (193 KP) rated Convicted (Consequences, #3) in Books
Sep 28, 2018
Amazing end to this incredible story!? I LOVE Tony & Clair... even from book one I found myself just wishing they could find a way and in Convicted, we finally get a happy ending after so much drama and pain. This series ripped my heart out... the connection throughout everything between these two is beautiful. An unbelievable story of true soul mates... HIGHLY recommended!!
