"Amazingly fun movie. My brother always argued this had the weakest storyline because Marty McFly is selfish and greedy and it’s about a sports almanac. It became a very destructive element. But I think it has really exciting visuals. The imagination. The props. The hoverboard, the fashion. Those shoes. That jacket that shrank and blow-dried. And then his cool hat. It’s just another one of those rad movies. That’s another one I can easily watch over and over and over again.I thoroughly enjoy the visual elements [of movies]. Between Terminator 2 and Back to the Future II, like, the logic they create, like, time travel…it makes no f—ing sense! You know, John Connor sends his father back into the past to f— his mom, what the f— is going on? But, then, it makes perfect sense. You just buy into it."

"I’m going to go with Raging Bull. I love Raging Bull. That’s another one I saw at a young age, and I didn’t love it at first. I didn’t know what to think of it. I was like, “This isn’t Rocky.” [Laughs] I was compelled and disturbed by what it was doing, stuff I didn’t get at the time. But that movie struck me at my core. I didn’t know if I liked it, but then I had to come back to it, and then I became obsessed with it and his whole career. It’s very hard to pick a favorite movie of his. Raging Bull is one I go back to, and there’s something between the expressionistic filmmaking of those boxing matches. There’s just a neo-realism in the dynamic between him, his brother, and his wife. It’s really powerful and incredibly inspiring."

"I watched it for the first time when I was probably 8 or 9, and it was the first movie that I remember consciously crying and having an emotional response to. I just remember my older brother, who really took care of us because my mom worked a lot, was so worried about me, he was like, What’s going on? Are you okay? I remember him ushering me into my room to calm down. It was interesting because I was so grateful he was nurturing me, but I wasn’t ready to stop watching the film. It’s a staple. I watch that movie at least once a month. It’s nostalgic. Now I think the acting is not that great, so I don’t think it could make me cry the way it did as a kid, but it’s so nostalgic and reminds me of my childhood."

I absolutely LOVE Bake Off! There are not enough words to describe how much I love watching it. I first saw Bake Off when I was heading home on a British Airways flight six years ago (yes, I remember), and have been hooked every since. I did prefer when it was aired on PBS, rather than Netflix here in the US.
I am super confused as to why the name of this show was changed to 'Baking Show'. I still call it Bake Off because it's the fricken name.
The challenges are fun, and the casts each year are super entertaining. While I did really like Mel and Sue as the presenters, I love Noel, and my brother and I constantly hunt for The Mighty Boosh references (Old Gregg reference are our fav). I think Matt Lucas was a good choice for this series, but I'm still lukewarm on him.

Have to admit I've always been a fan of Matt Lucas so I'm loving him on this. I've laughed so much at the current series!
