The third in Michael Arnold's Civil War Chronicles, again following the exploits of Captain Stryker and his men, who are fighting for the (doomed) Royalist cause.

At the start of this particular entry, Stryker and his men are unknowingly behind enemy lines, after the cessation of a brief truce. This novel could also be split into three main sections: the first dealing with their journey back to their own side of the lines, the second with what is effectively a siege that they are forced to undergo while on that journey, and the final part with the battle of Stratton.

As before, this was a thoroughly entertaining read!

Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
2011 | Action, Adventure
My sisters and I are going through the whole of the MCU right now so I'm on a roll. Alright. Captain America: The First Avenger was the first film I saw in the MCU. This has to be my fourth or fifth time watching it. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. And it's in my top MCU films for sure. I absolutely love the heart and soul of this film. I love watching it and I'll watch it any day of the week. Chris Evans made this movie what it is and without him, the MCU would not be as strong as it is.

Decent but not for me
I get that I am not the target market for this incarnation of Captain Marvel. This collection is split roughly in three. The story surrounding Chewie, with Rocket, was good, funny and well written. The second story, trying to save a rock star from an arranged marriage, was tedious drivel (similar to volume 1's Phantom Menace trade negotiations rubbish), and the third was slightly more what I would have expected from Marvel, a villain's attempt to take over New York.
A good collection for a character that some might really love, but definitely not my cup of tea.
