Card game with a quirky innuendo
This is such a simple card game which lightens up any occasion. Players team up in pairs to collect cards with amusing art and use a secret signal to shout "you've got crabs" at their partner to win a point (crab shaped token).

I love the card worker placement mechanism (2 more)
different cards have different numbers of workers
Interesting 1-up mechanic to take actions (need to have more workers than the guy who did it before you)
A worker placement game using cards of different values.
I love this game. It's medium level brain burn in a card game. it's not a gateway game, as it's more complex than that. but seasoned players will have no problem understanding it after the first round. Highly recommend giving this a try.

Unpredictable
Nifty little game where you are trying to escape and get rid of nightmares. Literally! It combines very easy rules with the need of adapting your strategy through the game depending on the cards you are dealt. It is great as a one player game as well as two player cooperative game. The only downside for me is that it requires a lot of card shuffling. But if you don't mind then I would highly recommend it.

Easy and fast to learn, accessible to kids (3 more)
Addictive gameplay
A game lasts only a few minutes
Easily transportable and playable on the go
A lovely card game
Love Letter is a slightly bizarre but innovative card game that consists of only 16 cards. At its current price, this may seem expensive, but is likely countered by the hours of fun that may be had. When you are looking for a simple but mildly strategic game to play with friends or family, this game should be at the top of your list. It perhaps doesn't have great staying power, but as a small filler game, this is my favourite.

Gorgeously presented card game
This game looks gorgeous, it is designed like a children's picture book. You have random cards and characters and use them to battle. Although beautiful looking i am not sure if the game ill last weeks of play.

Play with strangers
Keeps to the original card game, almost
For anyone who can't get enough of this game!
The mobile version of this game works really well and it's also got some nice cards I haven't seen. The gameplay is very similar to the card game and the 3 ways of playing are great. The play with strangers feature is my favourite, as it create the most realistic gameplay. Also the instructions and tutorials are really straight forward and I think it would really help someone new learn to understand the basic game dynamics. There are in game purchases which allow you to buy extra decks, I'm not a fan of this and would have preferred to pay a bit for for the game for everything but then I understand why as it allows them to charge 1.99 for the game making it much more appealing to new players.
If you enjoy playing exploding kittens the card game, I don't think you be disappointed with what they have achieved in this mobile version.

It's Dominies, With Countries
Mapomi ies is a very sinple card game, where the aim is to get rid of all your country cards before anyone else.
Each card has a country in the middle, with the countries that border it around the edge. To play a card, you have to lay a card down that borders another country already laid down. For example, the UK borders Ireland, so you can only lay one down next to the other
Some cointries have no bordering countries, so a transit card has to be used. These can be used to represent bodies of water, or other countries (even ones that are out already) and can be used to lay a country card down, that is otherwise impossible to play
There are additional rules you can use, like forcing people to lay their cards down in geographical accuracy, but I find this needlessley overcomplicates the game. There may also be times where you physically can't play a card, due to someone else not laying one of their own, thereby shutting you out of the game for a bit.
Overall, Mapominoes is a very simple card game, which can be combined with other packs, to create an even bigger finished product.

Fun
A fantasy battle royale! Choose you're hero; the axe wielding barbarian, the spell slinging wizard, the dagger throwing rogue, or the divine paladin and prepare for battle. Every character has a 28 card deck filled with spells and abilities specific to that character. To start the game every player sets their health to 10 and draws 3 cards to make their hand. Every round each player will play a card from their hand, and some cards let you play another card. This continues until there is only one player left. 4 heroes enter but only 1 leaves the battle alive. Each game lasts approximately 10 to 20 minutes and is a fun game for a small group of friends.
