feels like you are building a castle with blueprints

Incredible balanced, semi puzzle, with competitive aspects, and lots of economic and point scoring strategy.

I love this game, it's so much fun to play, and even has a one player version, my wife and I sometimes play separately and send each other pictures of the final blueprints. it's fun to imagine them actually existing with a bowling alley next to a kitchen and a garden a few feet from a torture chamber. The expansion adds some more fun with new rooms and secret passages.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2432 KP) rated The Heist (Fox and O'Hare, #1) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
FBI Kate O'Hare has been chasing conman Nick Fox for years. But when she finally catches him, her life is turned upside down. Now she finds herself teamed up with him to try to catch another criminal.
To me, this book felt like a melding of the TV shows White Collar and Castle, both of which I love. It was funny and a wild ride. The pace was just a little off at times, but for the most part I enjoyed this romp.

Lindsay (1779 KP) rated The Flint Island Treehouse (Edgar Font's Hunt for a House to Haunt, #3) in Books
Feb 15, 2018
This book did not disappoint in any way. It was just amazing as the two others in this series. The Castle Lighthouse and The Fakerville Power Station were catching as the third installment.
The Font family consist of Edgar, Audrey and Garrett Font. The Fonts get a mysterious package delivered to them. They encounter a young ghost, who strongly needs their help. They must piece together clues and break the ancient spell. If they fail, they could be trapped forever. They meet up with an unexpected foe of Edgar. Can the Fonts break the spell and find the treasure? I strongly recommend it.

Lady Georgie is looking to escape her family castle and lands herself a position helping with a Christmas house party. But amidst the old fashioned Christmas, she finds the members of the village dying off one by one. Is there a pattern to the deaths, or are they the tragic accidents they appear to be? I made a connection early on that Georgie missed, but once she made it the book took off and never quite let go. I really enjoyed this one.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2432 KP) rated Princess Elizabeth's Spy (Maggie Hope Mystery, #2) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Maggie Hope gets her first assignment for British secret service - go to Windsor Castle and act as Princess Elizabeth's tutor all while looking for any evidence that there is a plot on her life. Maggie has hardly arrived when someone is murdered. Was the princess the target? Once again, this was a fun World War II spy novel, and I enjoyed spending time with Maggie. However, some editing glitches and a very familiar sub-plot did bother me some.

Let me stay off by saying I am a huge fan of Stephen King! This show takes place in Castle Rock, which is where Shawshank prison is. The show is about 2 boys, one black and one white, who are claiming to be the exact same person. It follows these 2 characters through life to how they got where they are today. On the show there are several references/easter eggs to other Stephen King book and movies. It was a really good watch but you have to pay close attention to follow the story properly.
